Ive tried this product numerous times in hopes that it would work out for me but unfortunetly that is not the case. I have a hard time getting any hair off with this and if I do get anything off it is the smallest amount of hair. I find that this gets messy rather quick too, the formula is nice and the smell is great but it just doesnt get the job done at all.
Worth a try if you can get a sample size or trial size from somewhere. But not the best product out there. I think if you use it over time it may be better
I decided to try this product out that way I wouldn't have to shave as much but I did not like it. The smell is way too over whelming, makes you feel sick after a while. It's also not very effective at removing hair it was essentially a hit and miss. Sometimes when I applied it, it would get out quite a bit of hair but other times nothing.
I got this on sale and I hated it, it didn't moisturize my legs AT ALL and left them so sore
Hi there. I have had a chance to try out the nair cir divine morrocan argan oil wax. I have always been curious to try similar products but I did not find this one very easy to use. I was a little scared that the oil was too hot since i had to put double the time that it says to put in the microwave because it was still hard the first 2min. Spreading it on was not as even or easy as i thought. Im used to using the roll ons. The strips that i could get on did not get all my hairs as evenly as i was hoping.
I didn't like it. It was sticky and left welts on my skin, and the hair was still there in spots. Not impressed.
Didnt remove more then a very little bit of hair from each spot i used it on =/ Had to use it on the same spot like 8 times in a row to get the hair off
I wanted to say thank you to ChickAdvisor, as they sent this to me to review as part of their Product Review Club for free.
All I can say is that unfortunately, this did not hit the mark for me. I have tried other Nair products, one being their Candy Apple Sugar Wax I reviewed through ChickAdvisor as well. I guess I can start this review by saying that I am no expert at hair removal, but I have definitely been around the block and tried many methods (shaving, cold wax, warm wax, etc).
What I noticed when opening the box was a lack of fabric cloths used to remove the wax! I was quite happy with this, as it removes one more unwanted step of washing the clothes for the next time. This wax is to be applied directly to the skin and then can be removed after it dries for a bit.
I started to notice issues with this product when I began to heat it up. I followed the heating instructions to a T, but after the first heating round, the wax was very very solid still. I continued to follow the instructions to get a "creamy honey" consistency, but it unfortunately never came. The instructions list that after the first heating round, heat in 10 second increments until desired. I had to do 6 10 second increments (a full extra minute), until I was able to get a some-what workable consistency. The instructions listed that if bubbles appeared at the top, the wax was heated for too long. I do not think I would have been able to get a workable consistency any other way though.
After stirring the wax, I still noticed that the consistency was an issue. It was no where near smooth, but I thought I should just dive right in and try it out. The wax was a bit of a struggle to get a thin layer on the skin. Since the wax came out so thick, the wooden stick did little to help spread it out. After applying and removing the wax in a fast motion, I noticed no hair was removed. After a couple of times, I noticed that actually if I peeled the wax back very slowly, it did remove the hair. This was not the most pleasant of experiences though. What I can equate it to is peeling off a nose pore strip.
I also noticed it was pretty messy. The wax did not come out of the jar on the stick cleanly, but left very long strands which were hard to contain. I can say that once the wax was left to dry, it was very easy to remove from fingers and counter tops.
It's sad that this product didn't work out for me. I've tried and loved many Nair wax products, but this one did not work out as expected. I wasn't able to see any noticeable results. One thing I can say is that the smell was quite pleasant. It's probably one of the nicest smells from a wax product I've experienced.
I have never been so disappointed in a waxing product. At first glance I was very excited. I've tried hard waxes before and I have loved them. This product promised to be easy to use, less uncomfortable than other methods and very effective. Upon removing the product from the packaging and reading the instructions I had to agree with the first claim. Seemed easy enough. I placed the tub of wax in my microwave for the appropriate amount of time and upon removing it the wax was still hard. Okay... first problem. The instructions recommended warming the wax at 10 second intervals, which was a pain in the butt. Took an extra minute of warming to even soften. But okay the wax is now a wonderful warm temperature and hey it smells great too! I sat down to try it out. Legs seemed the most straightforward test area so on it went, nice and smooth and very soothing and warm. I let it sit until it dried and was no longer sticking to my skin. One of the claims of this product was that t will stick to the hairs and NOT the skin which is great! And it was part right! It didn't stick to my skin at all! Unfortunately it didn't stick to the hairs either. I followed all of the prep instructions. I didn't have any lotion or moisture on my legs, I hadn't showered that day and my hair was well past the minimum 2mm required for effective removal. I tried this several times on different areas of my leg, even stopping to reheat the product and start over. I may have removed 10 hairs in total. Incredibly disappointing Will not be purchasing or recommending..
