I received this product for free to review as part of the Chickadvisor Club.Once I opened the package the first thing I noticed was the smell, it was just fab. I followed the instructions on the package and microwaved the wax for 30 seconds. It worked perfect and i used it on my legs and arms and the clean up was much easier than i thought.I was real surprised about this because other wax I have used before had to be removed with an oilor with some talcum or other things. I am very happy with this product and I think I will purchase it again when it's all gone.

When I first opened the jar, it smelled INCREDIBLE! There is not a nicer smelling hair removal product on the market! This is coming from someone who is familiar with each and every one! The wax applied nicely but I did find it came through the strip quite a bit. I thought maybe I applied to much but even with the tiniest bit of wax, I found it really soaking right through each strip. I also found that despite the claims that the wax works even on short hairs, I had ZERO luck in the removal process. I was completely disappointed because I loved every other aspect of the wax... but it just did not cut the mustard for me! My hair is not thick, and it was perfect length for waxing. For some reason, my end result was an extreme amount of pain and redness, and a few sparse hairs removed with a vast majority still on my legs! Sorry Nair, I really love most of your products and this one may be fabulous for someone with really fine leg hair, but it did not do it for me!

I was super excited to try this because I prefer to do at home waxing as opposed to shaving every day. Once I opened the package the first thing I noticed was the smell.....it was fabulous....and it only got better after I warmed up the wax. I followed the instructions to a t and microwaved the wax for 30 seconds....which ended up being a bit too warm for me but I just let it sit for a couple of minutes and was good to go.

I used this on both my legs and bikini area and it performed quite well in all aspects. The was itself was the perfect consistency and went on smoothly. While it did remove most hairs, I did end up with some short broken ones on my legs.....but I'm not sure if that was the fault of the wax, or of my technique. Either way I'm definitely willing to try this product again.

The one thing I loved the most was how easy this was to clean up!!! I've tried other waxes in the past that seems cemented to your skin and not even endless scrubbing and oil seems to get them off. The Nair wax I was able to simply wipe off with a baby wipe and it left my skin clean and not remotely sticky.

Overall, this was a great product and I'd definitely recommend it. I still have quite a bit left in my tub but I can guarantee I'll be repurchasing in the future!

I received a free box of Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax from the Chick Advisor. I was happy to try it.
The package is very nice and the wax smells like apples.
It was easy to apply and clean it up. My hair was short when I used the wax and it worked very well.
The Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax is much better than the other waxes I have tried in past.
I would consider buying it in future. I would recommend this product to my friends.

I couldn't wait to open the box, when it arrived. I took off the lid, it smelled so good. The wax is a translucent red, like a candy apples coating and really does smell like apples. I had been waiting for this to arrive so i let my hair on my legs and armpits grow out a couple days. I followed the instructions and tested out the product. The wax was pretty easy to use; it was just the perfect temperature to work properly. I found the wax to be very effective at removing short stubborn coarse hair on my legs. Clean up was a breeze the wax washed right off with a quick shower. I have dry and sensitive skin but I was pretty surprised that I had no irritation or redness after i was done they felt very soft and smooth. The only downside to the product is there aren’t enough strips to use for a second time but you could always buy more. I would definitely be buying Nair Candy Apple Sugar wax; I am very pleased with my results.
I would definitely recommend it to both first time wax users and those who have always just used a razor it worked really well.

the package looks very nice,almost like a little gift, and the instruction were very clear, easy to understand. after opening the jar i smelled on it right away and it smelled divine. after heating it in the microwave i almost wanted to stick my finger in it and lick it off. it smells like candy and it looks like a coating from a candy apple. please don't let this see your kids, i bet they wanna try it. lol

i found the wooden applicator a little short for me and not really good to apply the wax to my legs. :-( i like the reusable strips, but i ran out before both of my legs were done.

i have dry and sensitive skin.... after i was done i took a shower and my legs are not red, burning or have any sign of discomfort,there is no irritation at all. they feel soft, but i still see some fine hair left,so i had to shave. i will see how it goes and how fast my hair will come back.

only contra for me is the applicator. otherwise i think i will buy again. :-)

I was one of the lucky ladies selected by the Chick Advisor product review club to give this a shot and boy was I happy to be one of the chosen!

When I opened the envelope I received, the packaging was the first thing to grab my attention. It looked like a fancy chocolate or takeout box and the I loved the colors. I couldn't wait to open it. I opened the kit and was pleasantly surprised to find that: a) it contained very few items which assured me that the process would be easy AND it had really detailed yet easy instructions. This was not your average at home waxing kit!

Another pleasant surprise awaited me when I took the lid off of the wax jar. My immediate thought was "Wow, this smells like HEAVEN"

The product was EASY to use. I had only waited about three days since my last shave and it actually WORKED. There were no patches, no hairs that refused to be removed, no DRY SKIN after (which is usually my biggest problem). The wax was easy to heat and the instructions provided gave it the perfect temperature. As far as home waxing kits go, this was the cream of the crop! I would definitely recommend it to both experienced AND first time users for effectiveness and ease of use!

I've used Parissa wax kits for years, and never felt a need to switch it up. After using the Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax, I've changed my mind. It smells great, works well (once you adjust application to the thinner consistency), and cleanup is a breeze.

The packaging for the Nair Candy Apple Wax is pretty standard, a clear round tub with a screw on lid. The wax is a translucent bright red, much like a candy apple coating, and definitely smells like fresh apples.

Before heating the wax, I noticed that it was a thinner consistency than I am used to, so be careful with handling the tub to ensure the wax is completely settled on the bottom. Open it up with wax near the top and you will have a sticky mess when you try to open and close the tub!

After 30 seconds of heating, the wax was even thinner. It took a bit of getting used to, but I found the wax to be very effective at removing even shorter hairs on my legs, especially as it cooled down a bit. I wasn't brave enough to try my underarms (I've never had luck with this!), but will definitely be using the Nair Candy Apple Wax again.

The best part was definitely the easy cleanup - the wax washed right off the spatula with some warm water, and after a quick shower my legs were smooth and wax free. If you have ever used a traditional wax, you know how much of a pain it is to remove the leftover wax from your skin, spatula, and everywhere else it ends up with Azulene oil!

A couple pointers to help with a smooth (hehe) experience: Wrap a thick rubber band around the tub once you have heated the wax (so it stretched across the opening), and use this to scrape the excess wax off the spatula before applying to your legs. This helps you to control the amount of wax on the spatula, and to prevent wax from getting on the rim of the tub.

I also recommend you purchase another spatula. I have a wood and metal one I purchased from well.ca that works well, and is easily to clean afterward. You can also purchase extra wax strips from any beauty supply store, as this kit doesn't come with a lot!

After numerous unpleasant experiences with at home waxing kits, I was apprehensive about trying this kit. To my astonishment, I was blown away by the fool proof instructions and the relatively painless experience! The most amazing aspect of this wax is the smell - it is absolutely divine! The aromatherapy helps relax and soothe your senses during waxing. The texture and appearance of the wax is also easily mistaken for candy apple coating which adds to the appeal of the product. After heating for thirty seconds, I smeared the wax on my leg and applied the wax strip. After removing the strip quickly, I was surprised that the area was completely bare - despite the fact that I have naturally short and fine body hair. Although I have highly sensitive skin, my skin felt smooth and moisturized due to the natural sugar cane extracts. I accidentally spilled the wax on my towels, however, a quick rinse and the mess was gone. Based on the ease of use, economical pricing and amazing scent, I will definitely repurchase this product and recommend Nair's Candy Apple Sugar Wax to all my friends.

I was lucky enough to be a tester of this wonderful product, and as a result, I am now a Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax convert. While I have used Nair products before, and currently use their waxes, I believe this will become my new method of hair removal.
Firstly, the product was very effective in picking up short hairs. As advertised, the product smells like candy apples and the packaging is very appealing and noticeable. The instructions were clear and detailed. The ease of use was just right. That is to say, it speed on easily and evenly, and little to no residue was left on my skin. In the case of any sugar residue left on my skin, it came off very easily as well, using a baby wipe or water. This was huge for me because I find wax very messy and sticky, and often hard to come off or painful to clean off.
In terms of comparisons, since I only use Nair products, I can say that I will choose this sugar wax as my new go-to hair removal system, instead of the current no-strip wax that I use. The reasons are because I like the smell and texture, the packaging is noticeable, as in it stands out from other products due its bright red colour, and because it was not as messy as wax normally is. The strips are soft and do not have any abrasive qualities attached to them, and they are good to grip and pick up hairs fairly quickly. The sugar wax itself does not need much heating, and does not overheat, which is a bonus. Most waxes need constant re-heating, but this product heats evenly and I noticed that the 30 seconds it heats for is just enough to warm the sugar and have it last for over 30 minutes (in my case).
In terms of recommendations and future use, well, I already said I would make this my go-to hair removal system, and with that statement I would also definitely recommend this product and praise this products to my friends and family members. In fact, I have already told my mom about it.
Lastly, I would like to state that if I could make a comment on the contents of the product, I would simply say that it should come with another spatula stick. While it is easy to clean, it helps to have another one for another wax session, and a few of Nair's other products come with two spatula sticks, so it would be nice for this one to as well.

All in all, Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax is a great product, and each of its claims advertised are proven true upon using this product.
