I must say both myself (and my husband) were excited that I had gotten chosen to review this product! When it arrived I immediately noticed the adorable packaging. Upon opening the product the smell was mouth-watering! It smells good enough to eat ( but it probably would not be a great idea to do so!!!). I tested the product on my legs. Having previously had salon waxing done my expectations were very high but the product did very well! I was not nearly as red and sensitive as with previous waxings and it was very easy to do! I didn't find it too messy and the little mess I made was very easy to clean up. I am definitely now an at home waxer, the price savings will be ginormous! Thank you again for this opportunity!!

I received this product for free to review as part of the Chickadvisor Club.Once I opened the package the first thing I noticed was the smell, it was just fab. I followed the instructions on the package and microwaved the wax for 30 seconds. It worked perfect and i used it on my legs and arms and the clean up was much easier than i thought.I was real surprised about this because other wax I have used before had to be removed with an oilor with some talcum or other things. I am very happy with this product and I think I will purchase it again when it's all gone.

I couldn't wait to open the box, when it arrived. I took off the lid, it smelled so good. The wax is a translucent red, like a candy apples coating and really does smell like apples. I had been waiting for this to arrive so i let my hair on my legs and armpits grow out a couple days. I followed the instructions and tested out the product. The wax was pretty easy to use; it was just the perfect temperature to work properly. I found the wax to be very effective at removing short stubborn coarse hair on my legs. Clean up was a breeze the wax washed right off with a quick shower. I have dry and sensitive skin but I was pretty surprised that I had no irritation or redness after i was done they felt very soft and smooth. The only downside to the product is there aren’t enough strips to use for a second time but you could always buy more. I would definitely be buying Nair Candy Apple Sugar wax; I am very pleased with my results.
I would definitely recommend it to both first time wax users and those who have always just used a razor it worked really well.

When I opened the envelope I received, the packaging was the first thing to grab my attention. It looked like a fancy chocolate or takeout box and the I loved the colors. I couldn't wait to open it. I opened the kit and was pleasantly surprised to find that: a) it contained very few items which assured me that the process would be easy AND it had really detailed yet easy instructions. This was not your average at home waxing kit!

Another pleasant surprise awaited me when I took the lid off of the wax jar. My immediate thought was "Wow, this smells like HEAVEN"

The product was EASY to use. I had only waited about three days since my last shave and it actually WORKED. There were no patches, no hairs that refused to be removed, no DRY SKIN after (which is usually my biggest problem). The wax was easy to heat and the instructions provided gave it the perfect temperature. As far as home waxing kits go, this was the cream of the crop! I would definitely recommend it to both experienced AND first time users for effectiveness and ease of use!

After numerous unpleasant experiences with at home waxing kits, I was apprehensive about trying this kit. To my astonishment, I was blown away by the fool proof instructions and the relatively painless experience! The most amazing aspect of this wax is the smell - it is absolutely divine! The aromatherapy helps relax and soothe your senses during waxing. The texture and appearance of the wax is also easily mistaken for candy apple coating which adds to the appeal of the product. After heating for thirty seconds, I smeared the wax on my leg and applied the wax strip. After removing the strip quickly, I was surprised that the area was completely bare - despite the fact that I have naturally short and fine body hair. Although I have highly sensitive skin, my skin felt smooth and moisturized due to the natural sugar cane extracts. I accidentally spilled the wax on my towels, however, a quick rinse and the mess was gone. Based on the ease of use, economical pricing and amazing scent, I will definitely repurchase this product and recommend Nair's Candy Apple Sugar Wax to all my friends.

I was lucky enough to be a tester of this wonderful product, and as a result, I am now a Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax convert. While I have used Nair products before, and currently use their waxes, I believe this will become my new method of hair removal.
Firstly, the product was very effective in picking up short hairs. As advertised, the product smells like candy apples and the packaging is very appealing and noticeable. The instructions were clear and detailed. The ease of use was just right. That is to say, it speed on easily and evenly, and little to no residue was left on my skin. In the case of any sugar residue left on my skin, it came off very easily as well, using a baby wipe or water. This was huge for me because I find wax very messy and sticky, and often hard to come off or painful to clean off.
In terms of comparisons, since I only use Nair products, I can say that I will choose this sugar wax as my new go-to hair removal system, instead of the current no-strip wax that I use. The reasons are because I like the smell and texture, the packaging is noticeable, as in it stands out from other products due its bright red colour, and because it was not as messy as wax normally is. The strips are soft and do not have any abrasive qualities attached to them, and they are good to grip and pick up hairs fairly quickly. The sugar wax itself does not need much heating, and does not overheat, which is a bonus. Most waxes need constant re-heating, but this product heats evenly and I noticed that the 30 seconds it heats for is just enough to warm the sugar and have it last for over 30 minutes (in my case).
In terms of recommendations and future use, well, I already said I would make this my go-to hair removal system, and with that statement I would also definitely recommend this product and praise this products to my friends and family members. In fact, I have already told my mom about it.
Lastly, I would like to state that if I could make a comment on the contents of the product, I would simply say that it should come with another spatula stick. While it is easy to clean, it helps to have another one for another wax session, and a few of Nair's other products come with two spatula sticks, so it would be nice for this one to as well.

All in all, Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax is a great product, and each of its claims advertised are proven true upon using this product.

The wax smells amazing that you feel super relaxed while knowing WAXING DOES HURT. I am so happy with the finishing result and the fact that hair will take longer to start growing back make the whole process really worth it. I found that it takes a lot of practice to get used to waxing and the amount used is the key, using a little bit goes along way and gives great results.
I would have recommended Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax to my family and friends if it wasn't for the high cost ( retail $14.95).

I received the Nair Candy Apple Sugar Wax from the ChickAdvisor Review Club. I was pretty excited to try this product, as I have never used sugar wax before. The smell was amazing. The instruction were clear and concise and I had no problem using the product (though it did get a bit messy). The one claim the product didn't live upto, for me atleast, was that it did not remove all my short hairs. Besides that, this has got to be one of my more "luxurious" at-home waxes, with the incredible smell and silky soft legs afterwards.

As part of the chick advisor I was chosen to try this new product from Nair for free! I have to say that this product was a 100% pleasure to use. From the minute I opened my package I noticed how appealing the box was. It is something that would jump off the shelf in a store and encourage you to purchase it. The warm Candy Apple smell was absolutely heavenly.The sugar wax heated thoroughly and spread on a beautiful, thin layer. It left your legs feeling smooth and soft. I will be buying this in the future for sure!

If someone told me waxing my legs could be a spa like experience, with a scent and bright colour that would excite my senses, while still delivering great results, I am certain I would question their truthfulness. That is until now. As part of the chick advisor review team I was chosen to try this new exciting product from Nair absolutely free! The first thing that I noticed and enjoyed was the packaging itself. To me the box represented a colourful happy, calm image, not your standard ordinary plain box of hair removal wax. Upon opening the box and the actual wax container I got to smell just a hint of the experience my nose was about to receive. Candy apple scent reminds me of bright sunny happy days spent at a fair and that is what I was thinking of when I began my wax experience. The actual wax heated through very evenly and I think the consistency was one of the best I have tried. The aroma of the heated wax exceeded my expectations, actually my noses expectations. It was pure enjoyment, not overpowering or artificial smelling just good ole candy apples. Although you can be enticed by looks and smell the actual results of the product are the most important part to me. So here we go.... After reading the easy to understand instructions I applied the heated wax to my leg.It was quite easy to apply both the wax and the removal paper. The removal was not as enjoyable but no product can take away the abrupt shock of pulling off a strip of wax but somehow this time it actually seemed a little calmer to me. Maybe the scent and the appearance had a extra effect on me. I continued each leg in sections as instructed until completely finished. Then the inspection started....I wanted to be thorough so I actually looked close up with a magnifying glass. I am happy to report even under my magnified eye I was glad to see no hair left on my beautiful curvy legs, not even a few small fine hairs were to be seen. I would have to rate my overall experience with this new Nair product as being very successful and satisfying. All my expectations were met. This is a product I would readily recommend to friends and family. I guess waxing can be a spa like experience!
