This is the worst sugar wax I’ve ever used.
The only good thing that I can say about this product is that it smells amazing.. literally good enough to eat. I wish that it worked as well as it smelled. When pulling off the strips I was lucky if it removed 5 hairs with each strip.. really disappointed with this product.
Boo-boo-boo. Nothing like a sugar wax should be. First of all, the smell is very unpleasant, a chemical parody to an apple. Second issue is - it doesn't do the job. It simply doesn't stick well to your hairs and half of them would stay where they were, though you get the pain of pulling them. And then -the bright red color poorly washes off from the strips. There are a lot of other options of sugar waxes, so don't waste your money on this one!
I found this did nothing for me. I tried it twice thinking maybe the first time I did something wrong, but it did not work at all, I ended up having to shave instead.
although this smells super good it wasn't as effective as I thought it would be. Keeping in mind that it is sugar and not actually wax, it still didn't do what I was expecting it to. Very messy and you have to go over the area a few times, irritating it and it makes for a very unpleasant experience. I prefer to have the professionals take care of it from now on
I have used sugaring products and wax products at home for years so i know how to use them & feel little pain at all now. I do love the aromatherapy of this scent, but found the wax sometimes stayed on my skin so i then had to get rid of this red paste that didn't come away with the cloth. And it didn't grab hairs as readily as other sugaring products so sometimes i had to give up and re-do the next day. It was a big tub for the price compared to what i usually buy which is why i bought it, but sadly didn't find it worked as well. And my hair isn't all that stubborn to remove after years of weakening the roots by removal. Won't buy again, sticking with Parissa products instead.
I bought this with high hopes as I usually use Nair products when I look to wax my legs. Unfortunately I found that this was not as effective as there other products but it did smell wonderful!
This smells really nice and it does leave your skin smooth. The down fall of the product is the price, the effectiveness isn't always good and it's hard to use this because of how sticky it is but I do like how you can re use your strips and the wax comes off just in water and it's easy. Not a bad product but I wouldn't go buying this again.
What do you think, have you tried it?
I was really intrigued when I first recieved this. I was hoping to find something that worked as well as hair removal kits in the past and at a better pricepoint.
What I found out is that it is more expensive than my go to wax, and definitely not as efficient. The nair wax didnt get quite as hot as I would have liked in the recomended micowave time, after heating it some more, I found it applied quite thick and did not cling well enough to the hairs. I was left with patches of strays that took multiple attempts, and still did not remove it all. The smell from the wax was ok but the red definitely transfers a bit to fabrics ect.
I also found that using the nair took longer than usual to do my legs and felt like it was waaaay more effort than other products I have used in the past. I suggest looking at some other options if you can.
In comparing this to other waxing products, I didn't see much of a difference in effectiveness. Certain areas needed to be done multiple times.
I did like the smell of the wax.
I was given this product to test, I loved the apple scent and the easy cleanup, warm water and it washes right off. This was my first time waxing, and I found it a bit hard, not to use, but to get results. It says that you can use it on hair as short as 2mm, however, when I tried it on short hair I had little success. In fact I didn't manage to get any hair off, though this may have been operational error rather than the product, hopefully with practice I'll get the hang of it.
