Easy, & Mess Free Wax Strips

These wax strips are easy to use, mess free, with minimal pain. I did experience some redness and a few bumps appeared on my lip area but in cleared up by the next day. They are advised for sensitive skin so I was surprised about my minor breakout after using them. They say you don’t have to heat them up in your hand before use and that is true, in fact if you do try to warm them up you will mess them up and the wax will end up on both sides of the strips when it only should be on the transparent side, this will make the wax too thin to use. They also advise that no rubbing is required for these strips however I found they didn’t remove all the hair and I found myself having to reapply and try to remove it again, I found rubbing them made them remove more hair, so I recommend trying both ways. I loved the wipes they give you to remove the leftover wax and sooth the skin, however I wish they gave you more than 2 wipes, because these strips come in a 24 pack. I would recommend you trying them, and I would buy them again just because they’re easy to use, and mess free.

Good but not great

I was excited for the results of the waxing but they only lasted about 2 weeks. I tested the product a few times before giving my review and I do feel after a few uses it’s extending the length of time before I need to use it again. The wipes are super soothing and h wish they came with more in the package! Super easy and great for sensitive skin with no irritation at all and the perfect size strip.

Tough to open strips but worked

I tried these facial strips and had mixed feelings. The plastic film is supposed to be removed while the wax remains on strip but it was very difficult to do so. I even tried putting the strip in fridge as per instructions but still failed to remove the plastic film successfully. The couple strips I was partially able to open properly worked very well and removed hair effectively. However, due to the difficulty of removing plastic film and the amount of wasted strips, I would probably not buy again.

Nair face strips

Received these Nair strips for free for my honest review from Butterly. To be honest these are as painful as your would use the heated one. Yes it's a bonus that you don't have to heat it and able to use right away. But anything on your face that needs to be torn off is still going to hurt no matter what. These strips are perfectly cut to fit your face and have no scent to it for sensitive skin. I'm assuming sensitive skin is only for scent as the glue still irritates your face. Also there is also two of the wipes provided in the package, not enough. What if your using a strip per use. I guess use something else to clean your face.

It’s Okay…

I found the Nair Wax Ready Strips product to be just “okay”. At first, I actually did not understand the instructions properly so it took me a while. I thought the transparent film had to be removed, but that the wax had to stay on the white portion of the background. Once I finally understood, I put them on my upper lip and with a pull, was able to remove the hair. I felt that it did not hurt very much. I was able to use one strip for my whole upper lip which was great. However, there are 24 wax strips in one pack, but only 2 post-waxing wipes. I would have wanted more wipes as now I only have some for two uses. I like that the product claims long lasting results and that it helps minimize hair growth.

Followed all steps - sub par results

Although I followed every step outlined on how to use this successfully, it did not give the results I wanted. Was very easy to use, and was very detailed on what to do. It just didn't work for me. My skin broke out in the area, and not all hairs were removed, so would be a pass for me.

Good product but not for me!

I would like to start off by saying thank you to Butterly for another FREE product to test! I was excited to try this product out. However, I was misinformed on what was being sent. At any rate, I received the Nair Facial wax ready strips, not the Flawless hair remover. They are definitely not for me. It didn't remove my very fine facial hair, and it was very difficult to remove from the plastic without warming before hand (as the instructions say). I'm sure this is a good product for some, but for the first time ever I wasn't a fan of a free product that I received.

Different, Maybe Too Different

The Nair Wax Ready Face Hair Remover Strips with White Lily Extract (lengthy name…) seems like such a great idea, with no rubbing to heat it, no ordinary wax material and great for sensitive skin. So I was excited when I was sent a free product from Butterly for the review of it. However, after testing it out, I beg to differ.
These wax strips differ from the traditional waxing strips as it does not require rubbing to heat them, however, it does require cooling if they cannot completely peel off the strip, and that happened when I first tried to peel, despite it being cold where I live (-20C outside). The time saved warming the traditional wax strip I now must wait for it to cool in the fridge.
After applying and stripping, there are many materials (as I don’t think it’s wax, more like a gel) left over on my hair if it did not come off. I think it is because when pressing with my finger, it heated the material a bit, so I later resorted to using my fingernail instead. The adhesive also loses quickly after a single use, I must press and strip multiple times to different areas to lift off most of the hair. I also had much of the gel material left on my face after use. It did better with long hair than short as I must use multiple strips on short or broken-off hair to clear them. Just so happens that the day before I received these strips I just tweeted my brows so I have limited hair to test with, but with only the mouth and chin area took me four strips to finish tells the effectiveness of this hair remover strip.
After the waxing session, there is almost no redness on my face so I do think it holds it for sensitive skin claim (although I think it's mainly due to its lack of adhesiveness). However, several bumps started appearing at the waxed spots before I had a chance to wipe them with the provided post-waxing wipes.
Overall I think these waxing strips although good for sensitive skin, lack the effectiveness of the traditional waxing strips. These strips are also tiny and only for facial areas yet they are much more expensive than the traditional waxing strips. They are like bandages or similar adhesives that can stick hair out with glue.

Does the job but not perfectly

I often use nair wax strips for my upper lip, and I usually use the body-sized strips and cut them as I see fit. These strips were definitely easier to use because they're small, one-sided, and can be put on more precisely. However, because they're so small, I need 4-5 strips to get all the hair on my upper lip. It also did not remove all of the hair, I had to tweeze out the last few. I also find that 2 post-wax wipes is definitely not enough for 24 strips unless I was waxing a larger part of my face. It does smell nice though!

Wanted to love them…

I was really excited to try out these ready-to-use wax strips. They were quite easy to apply and I especially liked the transparent backing that made it easy for me to place the strip accurately. I also liked that you could cut the strips down to size for more accuracy, especially when working on smaller areas like my eyebrows. However, I found that it took several strips to wax my sideburns and I did not have much success in reusing the strips as instructed. The biggest issue I faced was that at least 5 out of 10 strips did not come off the carrier backing properly and did not transfer to the transparent backing. The wax just stayed on the carrier sheet and I was unable to use them, so I had to throw them away. I am not sure if I received a defective box or if this is a flaw in the design. If this issue could be resolved, I would highly recommend these wax strips, but as they are now, I would not recommend buying them.
