this is a very full coverage foundation and only one to two pumps are required! it can be blended easily, but finished to a matte finish and face looks powdery. However, the coverage was very good and with a moisturizing primer or oil serum drops a more dewy look can be obtained. If you want full coverage this is a good foundation, but if you have slight dry skin it latches on to the dry patches.
I love how weightless this foundation feels! It is definitely lighter coverage and I use concealer for any obvious red spots. I have extremely sensitive skin and most foundations cause me to break out but I have not had that with this product. With a good setting spray (I use Urban Decay All Nighter) it can last about 8 hours looking flawless then it definitely needs minor touch ups. I often am told how flawless and airbrushed my skin looks with this product. I apply with a beauty blender. Finding a good shade in this product is difficult so make sure to shade test!!
This is a really soft and light foundation in the sense that you don't need a lot to put on your face, 1 pump is enough for me. It gives me medium to full coverage but I still find the need to use a concealer on some parts of my face.
I do really like the foundation but I also like using Covergirls 2 in 1 foundation just as much and feel like it works just as well
Love the easy application of it. It not let the skin with an oil filter. It cover well but it's not leaving a block pore sensation. It can be a little bit expensive but it's worth it!
great coverage, doesn't make my face look caked on which I'm a fan of. I recommend it
I went inside Sephora deciding I need to upgrade my Foundation game and got my colourmatch done. The first recommendation for a "Full Coverage" foundation was this one.
(Quick Tip: fbefore considering to buy this product is do a colour match at Sephora and ask for a sample! They'll be glad to help you)
The price is $58, and at first I was a bit iffy but now that I've had it for a month and with using it everyday, it is definitely worth the buy, plus I got a free mini NARS mascara to go with it.The product definitely live up to its name, and remember when using this product "A little goes a long way" applies to this. And plus, this is probably the closest thing to my "regular skin/no tan" colour.
Cheers xx
This product is a little pricey but worth every penny. It provides great coverage without looking like you're wearing alot of layers of makeup. I put my other makeup on top and my skin looks flawless. I love Nars products.
An important factor to me when it comes to foundation on my face it that it's not heavy and not oily, it doesn't make me feel like my face cannot breathe. NARS is one of those products that doesn't do that. Thankfully.
Generally I use three pumps and I could probably use two but three has always worked well for me. It works with my skin perfectly. Not impressed with the price because it is a bit hefty but it works well so I can't complain.
The first thing i noticed about this foundation is that it is extremely watery. Though the coverage is great for this product, at the end of the day my face feels very oily. Ive tried using it with primers and also setting it with powder, but didn't help too much. For something this costly (around $67) i would hope for a long lasting product.
Any foundation that doesn't feel like foundation is a good thing. And any foundation that also provides full coverage and still doesn't feel like a mask of makeup is a great thing. Two pumps was enough to rewrite history, smoothing out our skin tone all over our face and getting rid of redness, splotchiness, and acne as if it had never existed. The coverage was thick enough that we didn't need concealer, and the formula was tenacious enough that we didn't need to touch it up all day.
