Love this shade in the winter. Provides a perfect glow!

Move over NARS "Orgasm" blush, and say hello to NARS' "Oasis" shade! There is so much hype around the "Orgasm" blush (and well deserved that is), but I can't stress how amazing "Oasis" is as well! It's got the perfect amount of shimmer, with lots of pigment. Be careful, a little amount goes a long way. They say it is around a pink champagne colour, however I would definitely say it is more around a light berry pink. It's the perfect Fall/Winter blush that's for sure!

NARS is one of the best brands around for quality and high-end covetability, but their prices are completely ridiculous and their formulations are dangerously laden with toxic carcinogenic chemicals and parabens. I got rid of all my NARS products after looking up the ingredient lists for the blushes. Even though the colors are probably the best on the market, I'd rather make do with the $3.00 lookalike version from ELF, which has no parabens and is virtually indiscernible from the "real" thing. Even the casing is similar enough.

Outlaw is a gorgeous color, no doubt. When I wore NARS, Outlaw was my shade of choice, and it suited me perfectly. Glides on like a dream, with so much color payoff that in almost 10 years I never even made a dent in the product - seriously, it's a dab-and-tap application, any more than that and you end up scrubbing your cheeks to remove the excess. So in that manner, I suppose the price isn't so outrageous considering how long this can last you. It always lasted all day on me, and the color stayed true and never turned chalky or faded. These are the pluses, and if you love NARS, they make it worth it. But to me, nothing is worth the potential health risks associated with the ingredients list!

I'd save my money, go with the cheaper version, and skip the hormone-disruptors and carcinogens - because honestly, who looks at someone's cheeks and says "Oh she's wearing NARS!" Nobody's gonna know, trust me.

NARS Outlaw is described as a soft rose with golden shimmer. To me, its more of a brick red color with golden shimmer that blends to give a nice reddish flush to cheeks. It has some plum undertones that really don't show up much. As you can see that it is predominantly red in most of the swatches.

It has a ton of pigment so I lightly dust off excess from my brush before applying on my cheeks. The coverage is buildable, which is ideal for me, so I could build up the color for night time or keep it soft and natural for daytime looks. It has a gorgeous golden shimmer that looks soo amazing on my warm skin tone. I like the texture of it. It never applies patchy. Even when it fades, it doesn't look patchy.

But as I said, this is a great blush but its not flawless so lets talk about the negatives. I was so disappointed to see how quickly the golden shimmer fades off. I think it stays on for just 3 to 4 hours and after which it appears more like a matte blush. So a highlighter is a must. Although, it may seem reasonable, so skip the highlighter with such a shimmering blush but the shimmer goes away soon! I think I should use a setting spray to lock the shimmer but honestly, I have used drugstore blushes that retain all the shimmer and the color for longer than this and at a quarter of the price!
The blush minus the shimmer, stays for 8-9 hours and then it starts to fade but I dint see it disappearing.

I got this at Sephora when I was looking for a pinkish flush blush. The MUA told me to try it and I was very skeptical, because it looks more like a highlighter golden colour. I don't know how it works on my tanned complexion but it gives this beautiful flush that's a fresh apricot shade. I don't know if it works on every complexion so I recommend you try it on before you buy.

Nars is such a great brand for high quality makeup, especially with their blush. The classic blush orgasm is a staple to anyones makeup collection. Its so versatile that it can work with any skin tone. The colour payout is great and lasts for at least 8hrs. The hint of glitter gives it that something extra that leaves a healthy glow. Definitely a must have!

Nars is a really good quality brand of make up. Since I have tried it, I have bought more from this line of make up and find that the colors are really beautiful and effective. I wish it was more affordable so I could buy more of it. I really like the lipsticks too.

really good blush, stays on really well

Nars Orgasm is one of my favorite blushers and it lives up to its name. I love the shimmery, peachy color on my fair skin. I like ti when I am wearing warm toned clothing or bronzer. It almost looks natural if it were not for the slight sheen. I think it gives a healthy look. I also have the lipgloss since I liked it so much!
