A beautiful color for a lip gloss although I wouldn't call it strawberry since it's less red and more of a deep fuchsia. As my first Nars gloss I am very impressed at the pigmentation and feel of the gloss. The consistency is very thick but glides on evenly and smoothly. This can be layered on to be quite opaque or you can dab just a bit on your lips and spread it out with your fingers for a sheer tint, both ways are very nice. Also I was worried about the smell since many people complain that Nars glosses smell plasticky but this gloss is scentless and so far it has changed so heres hoping!
Sorry, the smell -hasn't- changed!
I tried NARS Strawberry Fields Lip Gloss which is a gorgeous berry shade. NARS describes this shade as 'Bright Strawberry Pink.' The lip gloss is very moisturizing and highly pigmented. I love the packaging, it's simple and very 'NARS.' The applicator is easy to use and works well to create a very defined lip if I'm going for a bold look. If I want just a bit of colour, I can easily sheer it out with my finger. I find that most long lasting lip glosses are sticky but this one isn't super thick or uncomfortable. I also like that as the gloss wears off throughout the day, I'm left with a pink stain rather than just bare lips. The retail price is $24USD/$28CAD and completely worth it for such a high quality gloss! I hope to see NARS introduce more lip glosses that are this pigmented and in such amazing shades!
I received a sample NARS Lip Gloss in Strawberry Fields for testing from the brand.
