I got color matched with a machine they had at Sephora a couple of years ago, and was given a sample.
I have Melasma on my upper lip. This over a decent concealer such as Erase Paste and it doesn't look cakey at all and it is the most perfectly matched color for my light olive skin.
Every where else on my face it it sheer and glows. I wish the excess didn't build up outside the mouth if the screw top jar though.

This foundation is the best one Ive used so far. It is pricey but you do pay for the quality! This foundation is amazing if you have dry skin. I would recommend this to everyone.

I bought the bars sheer glow foundation in the color Cadiz. I loooove the finish it gave me a natural luminous glow that looked very natural. I have combination skin so it didn't bring out my dry patches or make me too greasy. I didn't even need a powder with it , the only downfall is that there's no pump but other then that it's great , and a little goes a long way definitely worth the 55 bucks!

One of the best foundations I have ever used, by far! Perfect texture, great for dry, normal or combination skin and very long-wearing.

It provides a medium coverage that can be layered for heavier coverage if needed. That being said, this foundation can also be applied with a sponge or beauty blender-type tool for a sheer application. The finish is slightly dewy, but not overly so.

Overall, you cannot go wrong with this foundation, unless you have very oily skin, in which case the Sheer Matte version may be better suited to you.

I love the longevity of this foundation. It lasts me all day and fades nicely. It perfects my skin without it looking cakey. Rather than masking it, it enhances it! Although I'm not a fan of the price, I do feel that it's worth the money

Great foundation that gives you a flawless and natural finish. Doesn't turn orange one bit and blends really easily. Price is expensive, so try a sample to make sure you purchase your right shade.

This is my holy grail foundation, it is one of the only brands that carries a shade light enough for my skin tone. Whereas other foundations seem to just sit on top of my skin, the Nars Sheer Glow contains skin care elements and once blended in, it gives my skin a beautiful glow.
There is absolutely no shimmer whatsoever in this foundation however, the finish makes it seem as though your skin is lit from within.
The coverage is light/medium and can be built up in problem areas. Due to the skin care ingredients, it is recommended that you shake the product before gently applying it with your fingers. Blushes and bronzers are also easy to blend overtop and this foundation is perfect for all-year round wear.
I don't even need concealer when I apply this and rather than just providing a cover-up layer for imperfections, it actually makes my skin appear flawless.
Despite the price tag, I will always come back to this foundation.

I would recommend this to everyone, it really does what it states. It leaves my skin flawless and in a glowing state. NARS has some amazing products and this is probably the best one yet !

Great color range

This is now my new holy grail foundation. It glides on so smoothly, is easy to blend and performs wonderfully. I got this for $55 CAD, yes it is pricey for totally worth it. It does not come with a pump, so I put a q-tip in and just dip some out onto my face, that way I don't waste any of this. The colour selection is great, you will find a shade for you skin for sure. I use Gobi, and am NC15 in MAC. The colour match is great, I think it's a little lighter, less orangey tint than MAC, which works for me. The coverage is med-full, but it gives a lovely, natural finish, while covering all your flaws, if you have any to hide. It does not feel like you are wearing makeup and you will get compliments on your skin. LOVE LOVE LOVE, totally recommend this product.
