Natrel 3.5% homogenized milk lactose free - too much sugar
We recently purchased 3.5 % Lactose free Natrel homogenized milk and we were shocked to discover that it has 12 G sugar and 128 MG sodium.
The milk does not need extra sugar when we make coffee. It is that sweet that we can list it under desserts.
Not sure why these milk products should have so much added sugar and salt which create health issues for people who already have high BP and blood sugar levels. Please make your products health so customers can buy it with confidence, as these are for consumption and impact health directly. Even if the shelf life of the milk is reduced when you add less sugar and salt it is healthy and will be purchased by consumers with confidence.
Today consumers are educated and health conscious and do not purchase products which have high sugar or sodium in them.
Hope you take this feedback seriously.
Thanks,
RC
MMMM
I love how it tastes a bit sweeter :) Unfortunately my last batch wasn't super great and almost tasted bad, but thats like once out of a lifetime of purchasing.
Favourite Lactose-Free Milk and Brand
this is really good milk, tastes exactly like normal cow milk except its easier on the stomach. smooth and refreshing, perfect if you dont like the dairy-free alternatives. is a little pricy but is worth it since it is really good quality.
Tastes just like regular milk
I usually drink 2% milk but would sometimes get an upset stomach. So I tried this once and to my surprise, it tasted just like the milk that I usually drink. I would recommend for the people that are lactose intolerant.
I love it!
I am not intolerant towards lactoose but having lactose free milk makes me feel much lighter all day. I even use it in my curry at times when I do not have cream.
Best Lactose Free Milk
this is delicious milk if you dont like any of the alternatives but need something without lactose. i buy it if i can't make it to the grocery store since this is sold at almost every store in my area. great for coffees if you dont like cream and tastes exactly like regular milk (a little better in my opinion). Natrel has the best lactose-free milk products!
This is the best Lactose free milk
Since becoming lactose intolerant, I tried maybe different version of milk (almond, cashew, etc) but I honestly didn’t like any of them. Then one day I noticed this on the shelves of the grocery store and decided to give it a try. I believe it’s as close to regular milk as possible and the chocolate milk is amazing. The only problem is how expensive it is, but in the end it’s worth it since I’m able to now drink something I really like. My fiancé actually says he likes it better then regular milk so this is what we always buy when we need it. It also is sold in bags of milk for only a few dollars more, which is the better deal. So depending on how much milk you drink you have two different options which is nice.
Natrel lactose free milk
I love milk. I don’t know if I’m truly lactose intolerant but the taste is wonderful. The best thing about this product is that it stays fresher in the refrigerator much longer than regular milk.
The only downside is that it’s a bit more expensive. It’s worth it to me!
Love Natrel Products
Have always bought regular Natrel milk so when I had to go lactose free, I chose Natrel 1% milk. It has the least amount of sugar, 8 grams, compared to the rest of the other lactose free milks. It tastes just like the regular product and have had no problems using/drinking it.
