This is a supplement that helps promote healthy hair and nail growth. Ive been using it off and on for about 6 months. I definitely notice a difference. It probably would be best to run it by your doctor to be sure it's ok for you.

I take Biotin for my nails, which are normally pretty decent, but every now and then get a little bit delicate and peel. Biotin helps strengthen nails, hair and can even improve skin. I find that when I am taking biotin, my nails are less prone to peeling and breaking and grow faster than when I'm not. An added bonus to biotin is that it is also used in the body to help convert carbs into glucose which helps the body product energy and in turn can help speed up metabolism- never a bad thing if you're trying to loose a bit of weight. I like Nature's Bounty biotin in particular, as their pill size is large enough that you only need to take one a day, yet the pills are still quite small.
