Sorry, this wasn't for me. I tried it a bunch of different ways. It recommends 2 Tb with 4 Tb milk and to soak for 5 minutes. I tried it hot and cold and it always ended up tasting so sad. The chia seeds do sprout by making their surfaces turn to a gelatinous coating, which was OK. But, the taste overall was merely of bland buckwheat. The only vanilla flavour was stuck to the cranberry pieces... so when the chunks of berry are the only good part then the rest of the cereal is a write-off. It's just so basic that I haven't been eating it as-is. I've tried mixing it in applesauce, and have been just adding it to a bowl of oatmeal in the morning. So nothing special, and for me it can't replace any other breakfast cereals in the morning.
I love this chia suprefood cereal! The vanilla flavoured one is especially yummy - throw a few tables spoons in a bowl or jar with some almond or coconut milk in the fridge overnight, and you wake up to delicious pudding goodness! Add some fruit on top and maybe some granola for an impromptu parfait and you have a 5 min breakfast fit for royalty!
This is a gluten and wheat free cereal made of Chia seeds, buckwheat and hemp seeds. It tastes amazing and is so good for you. It comes in a little bag and you only use a couple tbsps. at a time, soaked in milk or whatever liquid you choose. Love it!
