Who knew

For as long as I can remember I have suffered with nasal congestion and allergies. My husband kept suggesting the Navage system as a way of clearing out my congestion; I kept refusing because I thought I could get the same result with a regular netti pot, which I use regularly. Was I ever WRONG. Who likes to admit they are wrong to a spouse? Certainly not me, but in this case I do so willingly. ***WARNING****graphic description to follow*****
I don't usually share such graphic descriptions but I must in this case. The first time I used Navage I was SHOCKED at what came out of my nose. I had lots of white mucus come out into the reservoir that stores the irrigated liquid and debris. However, the shock came when I blew my nose. A very SIGNIFICANT amount of GREEN SNOT came out onto the tissue. The stuff that came out of my nose should not be present in any healthy persons nose. After that I have, obviously, been able to breath much better. I continue with a weekly routine and my sinus congestion has much improved.
