More environmentally friendly than dryer sheets
I started using these drying balls because they're better for the environment than dryer sheets. They're pretty good quality and have enough weight to toss the clothes around, but they don't help with static as much as I would like. They also don't leave clothes smelling as good as dryer sheets, but they work better than having nothing. I will keep using them!
Who needs dryer sheets anyway
I use Nellie's scented dryer balls in conjunction with unscented dryer balls. I use 3 of each- so a total of 6 for each load. To be honest, this did surprise me at first, as I was expecting to only need one while I'm drying my laundry. They leave a nice scent, they aren't too strong, and as long as you use about 6 of them, they do a pretty good job at combating static. Plus- no icky residue on clothing or in my dryer!
Not durable
One of the balls got ruined in the dryer with baby clothes! It was ripped in half after using it for only a few weeks. Considering the price you pay for this I would expect much better quality. Would not recommend and I am sticking to my dryer sheets from now on
Dryer balls
I have very sensitive skin and would find that dryer sheets would make me itchy after drying my clothes my dermatologist recommended these dryer balls and they work great at eliminating static clean and leave my clothes just as good as if I used fabric softener and there good for baby clothes cause absolutely no scent.
Love it!
bought two of these dryer balls in the summer of 2016. Still using them. I love that you don't have to keep buying dryer sheets. They work great. I love supporting this brand.
This is one of the best investments I have made. I bought a box of Nellie's Dryer Balls they are amazing. They help save on the amount of electricity you use. Its a cost saving tool. It saves on our energy by 1/4. When used in the dryer. They are made up of 100% wool . I have 5 of them in my dryer. Lost one to the cats.
You will notice more lint in the lint trap. The drying time is quicker too.
I got them at Winners 3 in a box for 9 dollars.
