Not the same as when I was young

My son’s go to treat! He loves the mini version and it’s a great size for a kid (or me) to have a chocolate fix but not feel too guilty about it! But I do think it tastes a bit milder than what I was used to as a kid.

can't stop at just one

I was never really into smartie until my son's 1st birthday and I bought them for the kids. Actually this is a lie. Halloween candy, smarties are one of my favourites. So crunchy and the chocolate covered in candy so so good!

Good but there are better options

When I was a kid I used to eat these a lot, but I have tried them now and they don't taste great. Maybe too much expectation of something. They are ok but there are deffinetly other similar chocolates out there that taste way better.

Not like they used to be

For some reason I find the taste a bit bitter than when I was growing up. I was always excited to receive a box of smarties, but now not so much. My children feel the same way. Maybe because now there is more options than when I was growing up.

A Great Treat!

I LOVE Smarties. The taste and texture are where it's at. When I want to savour them, I let a few slowly melt in my mouth. But sometimes that crunch is what I'm after and I throw a bunch in my mouth and crunch them up. Either way, Smarties are the best!

Where's the RED??

Where's the red?? and blue and purple while I am at it. I buy smarties a LOT and it seems more and more 75% of the smarties are orange! YUCK! Guessing red food dye is the most expensive maybe? With all the crates of smarties I have bought over the years, the last few years the ratio of any colour but orange has strangely decreased. This is not just a "random" selection process, I truly believe they are making less of the desirable colours.

SMARTIES!

Who can hate on smarites?! The chocolate is perfect! The coating is perfect! The taste is to die for! I think these are the perfect treat to buy for myself and my kids as well. I will probably forever continue to purchase these :)

OMG....I'm over 55 and still love smarties. What a great pick me upper if you need just that little bit of sugar. Keep um coming. Will forever buy. Now just if they send me coupons it would be even better

My fav since being a child

Oh good ol smarties! I have enjoyed these since I was a kid! Now being older I still enjoy these! Can also do so many things with them when baking! I remember my Halloween trick or treat bag always being full of these :) they are also in every store and cheap

No artificial colours

A fun treat with no artificial colours. The chocolate doesn't taste waxy and coating is crunchy. Great memories from childhood too. Fun for everyone.
