Yummy
This review is for the 350g box.
I'm a massive fan of turtles. I'm originally from the UK, so I'm more prone to the European style of chocolate (the recipe is different, look it up!) and as a result tend to have a harsher critique of North American chocolate. One thing is, UK chocolate in particular has such a creativity, there are so many different types, all your favourite chocolates come in so many different formats: For example, you'd have Crunchies, Crunchy bites and all sorts of different formats/sizes/flavours. I wish they did that here.
Well this tangent is important because, to me, Turtles were the first unique and amazing North American chocolate I tried. They're unique, they're different and they are absolutely delicious. I'm not even a person who usually choose nutty chocolate either, I prefer fudges, toffees and caramels, but the combination of pecans and caramel in Turtles brings it from delicious to heavenly and makes it more filling too!
This particular box has 21 chocolates, that's around .47c per chocolate at current price. Overpriced, yes. Turtles have always been overpriced though and this is similar to store prices. I'd still pay it, because I love Turtles so much.
YUMMY
Firstvof all this was one of my mom's favorite candy. You'd literally get your head choppednif you at her turtles. I start buying my own and boy are the awesome! I get a little sad sometimes when I do, because my mom isn't here to enjoy them with me anymore.😪
Great item!
Several parts of Canada have faced long periods of drought in recent years due to climate change. Yet Nestlé, a giant bottled water corporation, continues to pump hundreds of millions of litres of groundwater every year from aquifers in Ontario and British Columbia. Nestlé pays less than one-twentieth of a penny per litre of water and then resells it for up to $2 per bottle. Every year, Nestlé ships hundreds of millions of single-use plastic bottles out of the community for sale all over North America for huge profits. -secure.canadians.org
Classic Recipe
These Turtles have been a family favorite as long I can remember!
They are milk chocolate, caramel and pecan delightful treats! I like how they come with 3 treats per package so its perfect for sharing! Although the 3 candies are considered one serving!
Yum
I'm not too big on caramel in chocolate but I make an exception for Turtles. We always get a bunch of these during the Christmas time. They come individually wrapped so I like to carry one in my purse.
🐢
These have been around forever! I remember they were one of my moms favorites when I was a kid. She doesn't eat a ton of chocolate any more and I've taken over as the turtle lover!
So good!
I always give these to my dad every birthday, he is addicted! They are delicious and the caramel in them is so nice and soft. I could eat the whole box myself if I'm not careful!
chewy goodness
I bought these as a treat to take to work for break. We all love them. If I am going to indulge I want it to be with something like this. They are just the perfect size.
Super good
These are so yummy. They are chocolatey and have pecans and caramel all in one chocolate. They taste great without a sugary aftertaste. I can't wait to get these at Christmas. The DQ turtles blizzard is delicious too!
Can you get these all year round?!
I absolutely love these chocolates. The combination of the caramel, chocolate and peanuts is amazing. My only question is: can you get these all year round? LOL!
