Its ok for what it is
So I got this product for free to test and review. I've used a bunch of different wipes in the past and this one is pretty comparable. I think wipes in general just move products all over the fast instead of taking them off the skin. I prefer to follow a double cleanse routine myself. But, these are kind of nice to throw in your purse and have the little singles available just in case. So, nice to have but I personally wouldn't purchase them
Not good for environment
I don’t use makeup wipes as they are bad for the environment. Use a cleaning balm if micellar water to remove any makeup __________________________\__
Works well + fragrance free BUT drying
Just a note: I am not a fan of using makeup wipes as a part of a regular routine. They are terrible drying, especially during winter months, and the cons always outweigh the pros (fast) when using it at home. I use them only in 'emergency' situations when not having the access to running water.
As wipes go, they:
- Were drying, though maybe less than some other brands
- Removed makeup rather well as the test with a cotton pad and micellar water did not show any makeup residue
- Truly fragrance free
- Irritated my skin because of rubbing, no mater how gentle, as all wipes are
- Not eco-friendly, as all wipes are
The survey asks "Did you find NEUTROGENA All-In-One Makeup Removing Cleansing Wipes to be gentle on your skin?" and the answers given are "Yes" and "Prefer not to answer" - where does my answer "no" or "no, all wipes are irritating" fit? That's just a bad research practice.
Wipes
The makeup wipes, i find the size is too small for me, it does not fully remove the makeup, only was able to try it twice. The fragrance and feel on skin feels good
Not for me
At first the make up removing cleansing wipe felt very refreshing. Then my face felt like it was on fire and starting to swell. It did leave my face feeling clean but I had to take a cold cloth to my face for the irritation.
Does the job, but not for me
These fragrance free All-in-One cleansing wipes work just fine. The cloths are a good size (19x18.5 cm) and are perfectly moist right out of the package. I'm not a fan of the single pack format, although I suppose they're perfect for on the go.
They work the same as my usual product as far as make-up removal goes. I did find that my skin felt a bit slimy after use, so I had to wash my face...again.
Adorable packaging but practically a waste.
First impression "The tiny individually wrapped makeup remover wipes are so ridiculously cute and are the most perfect travel-sized item to bring on trips." They're like the size of a fat square gummy candy.
I want to know how many come in a pack and how much it costs because I assume they would cost more due to being individually packaged. I can't see any situation where I would purchase these individually wrapped makeup removing wipes and I'm struggling to figure out who and what situation this product is marketed for. If I go for a night out, I'm either going home to my normally packaged makeup wipes, staying with a friend who would generally provide some kind of makeup remover, or sleeping over somewhere with my full makeup on (if it is unplanned) and then going home to cleanse myself.
If I'm going to bring wipes on a trip, I would bring my pack of makeup wipes that are quite flat and don't take up much space in my purse or suitcase. I guess it needs to be specified that I am someone who always carries a large purse so I can ensure I always have room to throw purchases and/or snacks into. I am always fully stocked and prepared for all occasions. So I could assume that these tiny individually wrapped wipes are made for people who carry tiny purses (which seem to be hip right now). I think the package is too bulky to fit into a wristlet coin purse - maybe suitable for a clutch, depending on its width.
These are so cute and I think they would be great little items as stocking stuffers but after assessing, the individually wrapped wipes are wasteful and impractical. I'm sure there is a specific type of person these are ideal for and I would want to try to persuade them to change their ways to reduce the packaging waste and cost.
