Shiny skin but weird "afterfeel"

I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to try this product but unfortunately it wasn't for me. It lives up to its claims in that it makes your skin shiny (the gel is glittery), but when it is applied to the skin, it leaves an odd matte-like "afterfeeling" that is uncomfortable and lasts for hours. I just wanted to wash it off my face.

Light and Bright

I received this product to try. I found that it was pretty light, which is what I look for in a face cream, and it left my skin bright and fresh looking. It feels very nice o the skin.

Not impressed.

I was really excited to try this out but extremely disappointed to find it contains dimethicone. I didn’t find it to be very hydrating and I have combination skin. It does feel nice going on but it pills on my skin throughout the day because of the silicone,and I can’t wear it under makeup because it caused my foundation to pill.

Oui mais ..!

J’ai beaucoup aimer la texture, l’apparence et l’odeur de cette crème . Le packaging est superbe , très fille. Cependant , je n’est pas aimer du tout l’effet « plastique » sur ma peau après l’usage de la crème . La sensation est très étrange et inconfortable au toucher . Ce n’est pas une crème que je vais acheter .

A little sticky

I found that the Neutrogena Bright Boost Brightening Gel felt sticky after applying. It also has a strong perfume scent. Looking in the container it looks glittery but I didn't notice the glitter on my face.

Light and refreshing

I liked the light texture of the gel cream, feels nice and light on the face, and absorbed quite well. However, the fragrance is rather strong for those who might not like that, and I'm not the biggest fan of the tiny glitters inside the product, yes it brightens the face but it's only because of the tiny glitters inside. Not sure if it's my favorite...

Odd

This had a great smell, but it didn't like to soak into the skin at all. It was as if it left a residue that kind of gummed up on my face. Could be because it is a gel cream, but it was definitely unlike anything I have ever tried

Way too scented.

The ingredients in this are sub par, and it could do without the artificial dyes and scents. It is moisturizing, but I don't like the shimmer from mica in this cream. The biggest reason I would not purchase is the strong floral scent. This one's not for me.

Sticky

This product did seem to make my skin brighter, or it was a combination of all the Bright Boost products used. It had a very strong perfume smell, which I'm not a fan of. It also was sticky for hours after using it, no matter how much I tried to massage it into my face.
It did go away under sun screen and makeup, so I'll continue using it in the morning

Glad I got to try before I buy

#gotitfree this moisturizer is very light and refreshing, especially around my eyes. I wasn’t left with a greasy , heavy feeling which was nice. CONS: contains silicones, which makes the moisturizer feel slightly mask like. Did not notice a brightness/ illumination of my skin. Slightly watery. Overall, I’m glad I got to try this product but won’t be buying due to the silicones.
