A nice moisturizer

I was very excited to hear that Neutrogena had a new line called Bright Boost. The majority of the time I am consistently desiring dewy or glowing skin - don't we all? I received for free the Gel Cream, along with a few other of the products of the line, and promise to provide an honest review of my experience.

First off, I really liked the packaging of this line. I liked the pink colour - not something I have had before, so it was nice to have this out on display and to use each day.
This cream has a nice consistency, and a pleasant scent also.
It absorbed quickly, and was not too thick. The only thing I felt it did for my skin was make look moisturized, and that was it. The only thing I noticed, and not sure if it was the cream itself or the step before it (the serum), I found sometimes the product on my face would start to cause peeling. I am not sure in those moments if it was maybe I put too much serum (due to the dropper not working effectively).
I did find that for the value and price, I have used other moisturizers that work just the same and cost way less. I would recommend it to others, but for this reason I will most likely not repurchase.

Brightens skin through use of reflective ingredients

I tested this product twice daily for approximately two weeks. This moisturizer creates a smooth finish and feels nice, and the reflective ingredients create the impression of brightened skin, however the effect lasted only as long as the moisturizer was present on the skin. The effect wore off mid day, or instantly if any make up was applied.
As with the serum, the ingredients list seems to focus heavily on feels nice and the "appearance of" without much focus on long term improvement however the small amounts of mandolin and glycolic acids may work well for someone unaccustomed to chemical exfoliation who already had decent skin, and just needs a little help.

This season is the perfect timing for gel creams where my skin is transitioning and needs hydration- I found the cream to be moisturizing without a greasy feel and smooth. Left my skin looking brighter and I love the texture. Would recommend this to my girlfriends. Worth the value!

Once a day use only

The gel cream is light and a little goes a long way. It does contain some micro glitter, but it is so micro, that I can't see anything, even if I'm nose-to-nose with my reflection.

It does a great job at keeping my skin looking fresh and moisturized all day long, however unless I do a full wash where I'm stripping the oils from my skin, I only need to use it once a day. Any more than that, it'll pill.

Light and Bright!

I enjoyed using Neutrogena bright boost gel cream. I used it for 10 days and noticed a difference on my tired and dull looking face. I used the cream as a moisturizer every morning, it was light and didn’t have a strong scent. I will definitely use again.

Good Hydration

This is an okay night cream, it has a nice, thick texture and it hydrated my skin nicely. I didn't notice any brightening effects, possibly because the chemicals used are lower in dosage. The scent is nice too!

Good product

I liked this product. Very easy to use. It went on nice and smoothly, good texture. The scent was very nice as well, not too overpowering, just right. I would need more time to notice if the product was effective or made any changes to my skin

So fresh!

I received this product to review for free. The scent is so beautiful, and floral. This gel went on smooth and non greasy. I would love to store it in the fridge to provide a cool experience.

Je n’avais pas d’attentes particulières et j’ai été plus surprise suite à l’utilisation de ce gel-crème « bright boost »! Contrairement à ce que j’avais peur, la crème est super légère et pénètre rapidement dans la peau! Rien de gras ou huileux, la peau est toute douce ensuite! Je n’ai pas encore testé durant une semaine entière mais j’ai déjà l’impression que mon teint est meilleur et à plus d’éclat!

Good and smoothing

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor club. The cream went on smoothly and had a fresh smell. I'm not sure if it brightened my skin overly, but it did have a bit of a glow. It wasn't greasy at all, but I was expecting it to be a bit more moisturizing.
