Leaves a film on my face

Not a fan of this product. I bought it cause i was out of my regular moisturizer and this one was on sale, so i thought I'd give it a try. It feels light when i put it on my face, but i dont like the sticky residue it leaves behind. I haven't noticed any brightness on my face after using this. I prefer a heavier cream right now since the seasons are changing. Maybe I'll give it a try again in the summer.

Meh - didn't love

I #got it free and was able to use the entire brightening collection together. I tried this several times but I just do not like the texture of gel creme, therefore I have a kind of biased review and didn't really like it. I didn't like how it left my skin, it kind of sat on top and left it tacky like the serum. Left my skin feeling warm, not sure of much change outside of that.

Needs improvement

First, I love the gorgeous pink packaging. There is a seal under the lid which is very handy for keeping the product fresh and free from any contamination. However, the pros stop here. I was hoping the texture of this would be more like a gel but it was straight up cream. Upon application, (and I used very little!) it balled up on my skin and didn't absorb really well. It is also heavily fragranced which bothered me. The effects of the "bright boost" only last for as long as the product is on your skin due to the shimmer particles that are in it.
It is also pretty pricey for a drug store brand so sadly I will give this one a pass.

Nice on the face, shimmer on the fingers

I was not a huge fan of the gel cream. I found it left a weird shimmery like residue on my fingers, and when I washed my hands it left a slight film in my sink. Now in terms of how it felt on my skin- I thought it was nice, again don't need much at all with it.

Leaves my skin shiny

I have super dry skin and I usually like a more rich product at night and sonething lighter during the day! I usually like gel creams but this one left me disapointed. It has a shiny/pearly effect to it and stays on my skin without really penetrating it. I don’t feel it combines very well with other products either.

Gel boost!

Not heavy at all. The gel is very light. I didn’t find it tacky at all I’ve only been using it for a week, so I haven’t seen much of a result . Also hard to see a difference in my skin, because of being stuck in the house due to Covid.

Too sticky

I usually really like the Neutrogena products. But this is definitely just too too sticky to use on a daily basis. It left my face too sticky and heavy.

I would not purchase this product

The gel cream was my least favourite product out of the bright boost set. I didn’t like the way it made my skin feel after applying, it left a sticky feeling. I did like the fact that it boost skin cell turnover. I feel that this product could be improved.

Makes my face moisturized but adds too much sparkle

This moisturizer smells nice but it appears to separate in the jar. I usually shake it up and it's ok. It's quite sparkly though so not sure if I'd wear it every day. It does feel nice when applying it and makes my skin feel smooth. It adds some sparkle and smells good.

A Neutrogena Breakthrough

The product has a light water-like feel. Scent is fresh and feminine. It's a good choice for the spring and summer. Skin is more radiant after using it, however skin colour is not significantly lighter. I would prefer if the product came in a tube or squeeze bottle to be more convenient and hygienic. It's definitely on the pricey side for the aisle it sells on.
