Neutragena Bright Boost Illuminating Serum
This illuminating serum adds a crushed pearl like shimmer to your skin, it seems the whole product line has this. I highly recommend that you apply how much product you feel is enough. It says 4-5 drops, if I do this I’m trying to rub it in for too long and all over neck etc. So I have made a habit of 2 big dabs or 3 little dabs on finger tips. I don’t like putting products in my palm as I use mostly my fingers to apply and waste more product by putting in Palm and getting it all over hands.
A great Illuminating Serum especially before makeup
I received this product for free from Chickadvisor in exchange for my honest opinion. I love the design of the bottle - it makes for an easy application with the drop applicator and the bottle looks pretty chic on the nightstand (pink and silver). This serum absorbs pretty quickly onto the skin, I like how it appears to moisturize as well - makes my skin look a little more plump and even toned! Would recommend!
Applicator Needs Work
I was given this from ChickAdvisor for testing and reviewing purposes. For a serum, I'm not surprised by the price because they can get extremely pricey. I actually prefer the Wrinkle Repair serum to this one, but I do like Bright Boost in some ways. This is my least favorite product from the line, however.
Part of the problem is the thickness of the formula and the type of dropper. This packaging works for the Wrinkle Repair because it's a thinner formula. In this instance, the dropper doesn't do a great job at getting the product out. It's a thick creamy consistency, probably the creamiest serum I've tried.
I also notice a shimmer in it and I wonder if that is what has been irritating some people's skin as they use it and if that is what simply gives the illuminating effect. All in all, I do feel that this makes my skin feel hydrated. My dry skin appreciates it, but it might be too much for oily skin types.
Step 2 to Brighter Skin
I had the opportunity to try Neutrogena Bright Boost Illuminating Serum courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I am in my mid thirties so signs of aging and dull-looking skin are concerns. I used this product daily twice a day followed by Neutrogena's Bright Boost Gel Cream and found that my skin looked brighter immediately after use. My skin also felt softer and well-hydrated without that heavy, greasy feeling. My only complaint would be that the button on top of the lid did not work properly for dispensing the product.
Overall brightening
I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. I found the serum went on fairly smoothly, and I did like the scent. I would say after using it for a few weeks, I have noticed a small difference in the brightness of my skin. One thing I did not like, was the applicator bottle. Even after pressing the button on top of numerous times, it never seemed to pull any product up into the applicator. Not sure if this was only my bottle, or just a general design flaw. I would recommend this product to a friend.
Good Serum
I received this product from Chick Advisor to review. When I first opened it, my initial thoughts weren’t great. It wasn’t like any typical serum I’ve used before. Most serums I’ve previously used have been mostly transparent with a hint of colour and they’ve been more “oil” like consistency. This one was completely white with a bit of shimmer to it. It also seemed like it wouldn’t spread well into my skin. Nonetheless I gave it a try and it was “okay” I don’t love this product but when used in conjunction with the whole skincare line it’s fine. It smelled okay, absorbed pretty good but it felt kind of sticky. I personally enjoy other serums better but I’d you don’t want to spend too much this one does the trick. The applicator is kind of innovative though, it’s still a dropper like most serums but this one has a neat little “button”
Improved radiance, but not a lot of product.
I felt like along with the gel cream this did make my skin more moisturized and radiant, it has a pleasant, light scent and and goes on smoothly. I did feel that there wasn't a lot of product in the container, so the packaging felt a bit deceptive.

Shiny Serum
This serum was kind of glittery and I didn’t really like the feel on my face but it certainly cleared up some of my spots even though I was just using it for about a week now. I would recommend it if you want a quality product but I don’t really like the tube that it comes out from. Cheers !
Great Product - Poor Packaging
To start off - I love this serum. My only complaint was the quality/choice of packaging. The lid has a wand attached that is supposed to allow you to get the serum out of the container, however, I found it difficult to get the product out, even from the full container. This makes me sad as I feel that there will be a lot of wasted product. The quality of the actual product inside was great. Lightly scented serum that spreads evenly over the face and almost immediately made my skin brighter and more glowing. Thank you Chick Advisor for providing me this product free of charge in exchange for my honest review.
Nice texture, fast absorbing serum. Really enjoyed it!
Neutrogena Bright Boost Illuminating Serum. This is step two in the Bright Boost face care line by Neutrogena. I am new to using serums. I enjoyed the packaging, it was easy to use. It’s like an eye dropper type design and you don’t need a lot each time. I used it once in the morning and once during my evening skin care routine. It has a light texture and feels nice on my face. It absorbed really well so I will continue to use it daily.
