Unsure about this one.
This was another product in this line that wasn't for my skin. I liked the packaging and I liked how light this serum felt, I even liked the little shimmer it had. Unfortunately this product irritated my skin, it left a bit of a burning sensation when I applied it to my sensitive skin. Also in combination with the moisturizer (even after leaving it to absorb into my skin) the product tended to just peel off all day. As someone with sensitive sin and extra redness I would not recommend this others with similar issues. (I received this product free to test)
Serum
I wasn't impressed with this serum. It's very fragranced, and it's sparkly, and it's not hydrating. It's got lots of silicones, and no ingredients that really stand out. It's way more money then I'd pay for something that doesn't do more than clog my pores.
Mouin...
Not sure I'd buy it.

This serum is milky with shimmer, which I think is the 'illuminating' part of the product description. I don't see the point of the shimmer because it just looks like glitter on my face -- like fallout from eyeshadow. I don't think it's necessary especially since I use serums at night. At first it felt heavy on my face. So each night I used less and less, and I believe less is key for those of us with oily skin. You have to have a light hand because this plus the gel cream can feel too heavy. After a week of using the entire regimen I have had smoother skin but I don't think it's due to the serum. I think the serum has evened out the appearance of my post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I had quite a bit on my chin, jaw, and cheeks, and I've noticed the redness has been greatly reduced since starting this line. Overall, it's an okay product, but I likely wouldn't purchase because I can't tell what exactly this has done for my skin. I feel like there are more affordable serums on the market to target specific skin issues as opposed to this one.
It's okay
I didn't really notice a difference. Nice consistency but kind of sits on top of the skin. The smells a little strong for me. I dont know if I would buy this.
Not sure I'd buy it...
The serum bottle is a decent size and the applicator makes it to use. However a ton of it gets wasted on the applicator stick. smells a but strange and feels heavy when used with the gel cream.
Gritty Serum
I've had serums from Neutrogena in the past with the same style of bottle with dropper and they worked a lot better than this one.
Maybe the bottle I got is defective? The dropper barely picks anything up. This leads to several insertions to withdraw product, which can cause product to spill onto the outside. Where, if it dries along the rim of the bottle, becomes a gritty crust.
There is A LOT of shimmer/sparkle in this product. (Hence the gritty texture).
It has a strong fragrance, some may like it but I find it too strong.
It does not absorb into my skin. It seems to just sit on top. And when layered with the other products in the regimen contributes to the pilling effect I've noticed if I rub my face, even gently, or along the hairline.
While my face looks brighter I think it's primarily a result of the shimmer in the product and the way it sits on the skin creating a sheen.
Not something I would choose to purchase in the future.

Plus une crème qu'un sérum
Je n'ai pas aimé le sérum. On ne peut pas se servir de la pipette pour bien doser le sérum puisqu'il a plus une texture de crème qu'une texture d'un sérum.
Illuminating (but sticky) Serum
The serum itself goes on silky smooth but leaves a somewhat sticky residue. This, paired with the moisturizer, leaves my face feeling like a slip n slide. Great for a day of self-care, not so great when trying to apply a full face of makeup.
Although the applicator looks fancy, there doesn't seem to be any consistency with the amount it disperses. I think a regular pump bottle would have worked better.

I've been using two drops instead of the recommended 4-5 and it has made all the difference! I've also waited a few minutes in between steps to allow it to fully soak in. I would definitely recommend and buy again!!
not sure about the sparkles
Super lucky to received this for free to try, in exchange for my honest review. First of all, I like how it's light and quick to absorb, great for layering with moisturizer without feeling too heavy. However, is the illuminating effect suppose to come for the sparkles in this serum? There is just too much of it left on my face after application, and I'm just not use to it. I only apply this in the morning so I can wash it off at night.
