Irritating to my eyes
This product left my skin feeling sticky and irritated. If I got the product too close to my eyes it was quite irritating to my eyes and contact lenses throughout the day. I much preferred neutrogena’s rapid wrinkle repair serum to this one. For the price point there a better ones on the market.
Can’t be convinced
Didn’t love this serum... and the dropper itself is complete crap. You don’t get anything in it and when you’re near finished, it is a huuuuge pain to get it out to apply. For the amount you pay, I feel like this isn’t worth it at all.
Too shimmery
I love the cute pink dropper bottle this comes in and the way this product can be dispensed hygienically. The texture of the serum is kind of thin and milky. However, I was shocked by how shimmery and scented it was. I did not see any results after one week of using this. It seems like the illuminating effect only lasts for as long as the shimmer is on your skin. I think I will use this as a makeup base when I want a dewy look but I would not use it as a treatment.
I received this product for free for testing purposes in exchange for my honest opinion. #gotitfree
Not sure what to think about this one.
Had mixed feelings about this serum. It had a bit more of a greasy feel to it and almost seemed like an unecessary step in the set. I didn't really like the feel or texture of it. Probably wouldn't bother with it and just use the other items in the set. Was sort of a neat container though with the built in dropper.
It’s ok
When I first received my illuminating serum I was excited to use it . But was very disappointed the dropper didn’t really suck up much product into it. Was very patchy on my skin even if I shook up the bottle.

Don’t like it.
I will start by stating one good thing about the NEUTROGENA BRIGHT BOOST ILLUMINATING SERUM and that is the light scent. I did not notice anything great about this product. I feel that for the price it should be a serum of good quality. One that actually brightens. The serum literally just had glitter in it.
I could see the serum being used in the summer to brighten the face sort of like a highlighter but a very light kind. Unfortunately it did not do anything for my face it just felt like a light cream with glitter mixed in. I will not be repurchasing.
Mediocre serum, good introductory product
This serum feels nice on my face, however that is due to the high content of silicones and glycerin. As a result, I feel this serum is overpriced for the quality of ingredients. I would recommend, but likely not repurchase myself.
Additionally, the dropper is not user friendly. The recommended amount is 4 drops, but the dropper provides an inconsistent amount, and only 1-2 drops causing you to constantly open try again with the bottle. This is not effective when considering ease of use, or shelf stability. The dropper should be reworked.
I’m not really sure if this product did anything
I used this serum with the moisturizer but I am not really sure this step is needed? Smells good though!i do really like the bottle pump though! Great new pump idea
Not for me
I was given the opportunity to try this product but unfortunately it wasn't for me. The serum lives up to its promise to illuminate skin (it's actually glittery) but it leaves a strange matte feeling after application that lasts for hours and was uncomfortable. It smells great though.
Hydrating
Received this product to try, and I didn't know what to expect as I don't normally use serums but I found that it was very hydrating on my face but didn't leave it feeling greasy. Perfect combo.
