Lots Of Positives - But Does It Boost Brightness?

This is a hard product to review as I really love it, but it doesn't exactly do what it's designed to do! At least not for me after 14 days of nightly use! Maybe I'm being impatient!

The packaging is beautiful! The sweet scent is great! The gel cream texture is unique! The moisture lasts well into the next day! It's all good things! But has the item brightened my dull winter complexion or evened out my skin tone? I'm not sure! Maybe I'm expecting miracles!

Not a great product.

First of all, the smell of the gel cream was very strange. It wasnt floral or fruity and didnt smell like cream. It was almost like a chemical smell, not very pleasant. Secondly, the texture was weird. Lastly, I noticed absolutely no change in my skin's appearance after using it for several nights. I would not buy it again.

Not for me, but would work for others!

I loved the formula of this moisturizer but unfortunately my skin had a reaction to it. It definitely left my skin feeling hydrated and plump the next morning but after 2 uses I started breaking out. Almost 2 weeks later and my skin is still recovering from it.

Leaves skin soft and hydrated

I recieved this product free to try in exchange for my honest review from Chick Advisor. The Neutrogena Bright Boost Overnight Recovery Gel Cream comes in a beautiful packaging, pink is my favorite colour so this was just a bonus! The cream itself is lightly scented (I did not find it to be strong or over powering), with a very light creamy texture. It absorbs quickly into the skin leaving your skin feeling soft and hydrated. I love that this product is oil and alcohol free as it leaves my skin feeling fresh but does not dry it out or add to my natural oils. My skin has been looking noticably refreshed and my uneven skin tone has had a major improvement after using this product for a week and I am very pleased with my results to date.

Wake up with great skin

I was hesitant at first about this product because I usually don’t moisturizer before bed. I usually do a thorough skin care routine in the morning mostly.
I was pleasantly surprised the first time I tried. It felt good going on and then the next morning my face felt great and looked brighter.

A recovered face

I have been using this product for the past week while applying it only at night. It does a great job leaving my skin moisturized in the morning but so far I didn't really notice a brightening effect. The product itself is a great bang for it's buck though. #gotitfree

Great product and ingredients but strong fragrance

I like that the consistency of this product is very gel like. Good for my oily skin. It has some great hydrating ingredients like Glycerin and HA. The shea butter is a star ingredient for soft skin. My face does look glowy in the morning when I use it overnight. However I find the fragrance strong. The citrus fragrance is not a good idea if for those who have sensitive skin. Other than that no concerns.

Smooth and fresh

This product is amazing. My skin feel so smooth. The light weight texture is refreshing. It doesnt feel greasy or sticky at all. It smells floral but not Too Over powering.

So light feeling

Cream is light and just nakes my skin feel so smooth. After working long shits in healthcare my skin feels tired. This has helped change that. My skin has seen a change in just a short while.

Nice product

I enjoyed this gel. It felt nice on the skin and absorbed well too. I haven't seen much of a difference in terms of brightening my skin though so I'll leave it at that. Moisturizes well but I'm not sure it can do much else.
