I've noticed a huge change
Note: I received this product for free to test.
The most problematic dry spots on my face are around my nose and middle of eyebrows, and I get nervous, even while using moisturizers, how much dryness will show through if I apply makeup.
This cream seems to have fixed that. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft, and I can go throughout the day and take a glance at myself in the mirror, and not find a single spot of dryness.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with dry skin.
Really Moisturizes
I received this Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream for free from Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review. This gel works well with my Combination Skin, it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin oily. I used this in the morning before applying my make-up and it helped leave my skin looking incredibly hydrated. I would recommend this gel to anyone with combination skin like mine.
Thank you Neutrogena and Chick Advisor for the chance to try out this product #gotitfree
Great product!
I'm always trying out new products to win the never ending battle to keep my skin hydrated. I definitely liked this product and felt that my skin was fresh and moisturized throughout the day!
Radiant skin that feels dewy soft.
I was also given the opportunity to try #gotitfree the #Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream that was included in my #NeutrogenaSun #productreviewclub offer. The water-gel cream texture is soothing and refreshing. I found that it absorbed quickly into my skin with little effort. A little goes a long way with this product. It makes my skin feel hydrated and moisturized and I’ve noticed a healthy glow since I’ve been using this gel cream. The appeal lies also in the fact that it is fragrance-free and won’t clog your pores. I wore it under my makeup and it was quite comfortable. After a harsh winter, my skin has benefited from the nutrient-rich #Neutrogena gel cream. I’m delighted to report that my skin looks radiant and feels dewy soft. This product definitely pampers your skin. Thank you @ChickAdvisor and @NeutrogenaCA! #ChickAdvisor #productreview
The scent is actually light and not overpowering but not exactly fragrance-free. It doesn't give you a headache or linger like some products.
Feels nice - no noticeable difference
I only have a small tester tube of this product, so have only tried it a handful of times. The scent is nice and light, not overpowering. I actual formula feels very nice going onto the skin, and is cooling. The only problem with the product is that I don't really feel like it's as effective as I'd like it to be! I have very dry skin, and with 2 minutes my skin had soaked all the product up and my skin didn't really feel that hydrated like it has with other creams I've used. It didn't make my skin feel drier or bad, but it didn't leave my skin feeling amazingly moisturized. I don't necessarily think this is a bad product, but for my skin needs it did not meet the requirements for a good and powerful/long lasting moisturizer.
If you have semi-dry skin, I think this could be a nice product to use, but if you are like me and have very dry skin.. I would pick something else.

Hyaluronic Acid in drugstore products !! Amazing
I am so happy that drug store brands have started to incorporate hyaluronic acid in their skin products !! A while ago, I came across a local skin care product that contained HA and I became obsessed with how it made my skin feel. I’ve started to look for this ingredients in products ever since. The price is quite high for HA products and I ended up coming across The Ordinary (by Deciem). I am using their Marine Hyaluronics (since I find their other HA 2% + B5 too messy to apply and takes too long to absorb). But unfortunately, the Marine Hyaluronic doesn’t have the same effect of the expensive local skin care product I tried.
This is where Neutrogena hydro boost comes in !! I am so happy to say that the quality of this product is so high that it matches local skin care products that I love. It leaves your skin feeling amazing without additional serums, emulsions, etc. The only con I have (which is a personal preference) is that the scent does not seem too high end and reminds me of Dove body wash products. For $20, this is definitely a product I would recommend.
A little pricey...
If it wasn't for the price, I would ALWAYS and CONTINUOUSLY buy this as my back up. But at the price that I have to pay for this, it makes it feel like it's not drugstore.
This product works very well if you have sensitive skin and/or dry skin. I love that it is a gel and I know I will love it more during the summer. As the gel gives off that feeling of cool and refreshing feel. It's like water and it gets absorbed into the skin.

Not a fan.
I was not a fan of the Hydro Boost gel cream with the SPF component because I just could not handle the scent. It is too strong to the point where it burned my eyes and if I put the product too close under my eyes it would sting. I don't like the consistency either how it is more creamy rather than a gel component. Would definitely opt for the original gel cream sans sunscreen! Feels better on the skin and no uncomfortable scent.
Great affordable moisturizer
The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel cream is really nice for dry skin. I used this as a dupe for higher end gel creams because I found I was getting the same results, if not better. It is very close to the tarte drink of H2O gel cream, and works even better in my opinion. Also lasts quite a while and is refreshing on the face. Really quenches the thirst for the skin, as I suffer with really dry skin in the winter and find these gel creams to be very moisturizing,
Not my favorite
The neutrogena hydro boost gel cream was just not hydrating enough for me personally. I also believe it broke me out a bit which doesnt normally happen so i personally wouldnt buy the full size for my self. #gotitfree
