Not moisturizing enough for me

i got to try this for free in the kit w/ the Hydro Boost sunscreen & Make-up Remover Wipes.

I had never tried a gel moisturizer and it sounded great, so I tried the whole trial size bottle before writing this review.

The good: I like the fresh scent and that it absorbs instantly into my skin. My skin felt smooth and soft initially and it didn't cause me to break out or have irritation.

The bad: I found myself having to use a different, heavier moisturizer on top of this one. It might be because it's winter though, I would maybe try this again in summer when it's humid out.

Overall I liked it, but I personally probably need a heavier facial cream.

Boost Gel Parfait pour l'été!

Ce Boost Gel et parfait pour préparer la peau pour l'été. Il hydrate très bien la peau en la laissant fraiche et non grasse. Je pense vraiment m'achète le format régulier.

Thirsty skin?

I was sent a sample of this product in exchange for my honest review. The NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST GEL CREAM is a great morning gel cream for those that need a little moisture. As the winter days are coming to an end, our skin is still showing the signs of the dry air. My skin can get dry due to cold air pretty fast. I used this product and my skin immediately absorb this leaving no shine or greasy look. My skin looked and felt moisturized all day. The best part is it has no scent as scents can often irritate sensitive skin. I tend to break out easily, but this product doesn't clog pores and I was acne free. It is on the pricier drugstore spectrum, but a little goes a long way. For the right price, I would repurchase.

My skin, especially with the colder temperatures we've been having these last few months, is dry and sensitive which has always been a bother- having used the Hydro Boost gel cream- a little goes a long way for moisturizing- and left my face feeling soft and supple without any irritation. Definitely intend to pick this up after I'm done with it! I'd pass this on to my girlfriends who also supper the same skin type.

Jai essayer cette petite crème et jaime beaucoup ! Elle laisse une odeur très délicat mais très agréable! Laisse la peau douce ! J'aime ca texture tu sent la fraicheure de leau! Ca fait vraiment du bien ;) je le recommande

Like this face gel

I loke this face gel!! I received this free from Chick advisor and loved it!! Doesn't make my face feel greasy...drys up nicely and makes my my face feel super soft definitely recommend This!!

Quencher for my skin

This is an absolute favourite face gel of mine.It's gentle, absorbs fast and boosts up my skin’s hydration.I wear it under makeup and even after a long day when my skin is at it’s driest.Perfect for my normal to dry skin that tends to breakout and the looks cracked and dehydrated.

#got it free. I have very dry skin and this was amazing. Left my skin soft and the scent was not strong at all! It's very light feeling as well. I will be buying this cream again.

I used it and it feels so gentle on my skin , I loved it the moment I used it! It smells good, its refreshing, my skin feels so soft after and its not greasy at all!

Not as Hydrating as I Hoped

I was chosen to try the NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST GEL CREAM for free in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions from ChickAdvisor and I was so excited as I struggle with dry skin - especially in the winter months and with the changing of the seasons. Unfortunately this product did the opposite of what it claims to do. The hydro boost gel cream claims to instantly quench dry skin and keep it looking smooth, supple and hydrated all day. The product also claims to be wearable under makeup so I opted for this choice in hopes of combatting dry skin without having to add an extra step into my beauty routine.

The first thing I noticed about the gel cream is that it has a really nice scent! It smells fresh and light without any chemical presence. The product dispenses as a milky gel with a slight blue tinge that spreads easily and smoothly on the skin. It absorbs SUPER quickly but leaves the skin very smooth and soft to the touch. It absorbs so quickly that I added another layer in hopes of creating a more moisturizing effect, but my skin swallowed that layer up too. I didn’t sense any moisturizing effect at all unfortunately and my skin actually felt really dry. Upon applying my makeup about 5 minutes later, it felt even worse. Usually my liquid foundation spreads easily and evenly to my face but with this gel cream as the base, it was the opposite... honestly a nightmare. My skin was so dry and my dry patches were enhanced. I have now used the entire sample (a weeks worth) and have noticed the same results for each application. It did make my skin feel smooth and did not cause any breakouts but for $20 a bottle it should add WAY more moisturization then it did. I would not reccomend this as a way to boost or moisturize skin and I would absolutely not recommend this as a base for makeup.
