So worth it!
This is such a lovely, basic, hydrating moisturizer. It does everything I need a moisturizer to do with no fragrance or parabens which I really appreciate and a very minimal ingredient list. I have oily, acne-prone skin and I apply this cream onto wet skin right after cleansing morning and night. In the summer I only need one layer, in the winter I will often use two layers or layer a hydrating serum or oil underneath. The hyaluronic acid is great for hydrating and the cream sinks right into the skin while not leaving me greasy or shiny. If you are looking for a complex, anti-aging moisturizer with actives this is not the one for you but if you just need a simple, easy moisturizer I absolutely recommend it regardless of your skin type!
Hydro Boost
It leaves my skin hydrated and it doesn't leave a oily residue. Great for if you're skin needs a hydration but is prone to oily skin. I 10/10 recommend.
Perfect!
This facial cream is light and yet so effective. If you are tired of creams that weight heavy on your skin try this. It's so difficult to find one that doesn't clog your pores, but this doesn't.
Pretty Colour, but that's it
This gel cream is very lightweight, perhaps even too lightweight. My skin doesn't feel refreshed or moisturizes, I merely feel slightly less dry and sticky. One good thing is that the cream does dry down pretty quickly, but after it essentially evaporates, I can't even feel it on my skin. Would not buy again because there are so many better options.
My favorite drug store moisturizer
I have very sensitive and dry skin, this is my favorite facial moisturizer to use during the winter! My skin is prone to breaking out and redness so I usually go for unscented extra hydrating stuff, this moisturizer does not make my face red, break out and keeps the dry skin away! I also love the one with extra spf on the summer!
Good stuff
This is the first product I’ve tried with hyaluronic acid and I am impressed with the effects. My 57-year-old skin is smoother and the colour is more even and less blotchy. I do still have some dry patches and definitely need to use my regular moisturiser over it. I’ve been using it twice a day and it’s lasted over 2 months. I don’t love the smell, but I’ve gotten used to it and it’s a good trade off for my skin looking happier and brighter. It’s also a good price. I will try a few other hyaluronic acid products to compare, as this is my first, but I will happily return to this one if they’re not as good or the same.
Great as a non-comedogenic moisturiser, but not rich enough
This feels light and very pleasant to use, and hasn't caused me any breakouts or blackheads at all, which for someone with combination skin is always a concern, but it's definitely only a lightweight moisturiser: it seems to have very little effect on patches of dry skin and simply isn't moisturising enough for those looking for serious hydration.
HYDRO BOOST
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream is very moisturizing for those cold winters. The scent is my favorite part of this product. It was a little oily which I did not like, but otherwise, great product.
I stopped buying this product!
I love the smell and the feel of this product and it goes on so smoothly. It’s a little pricey considering it’s a drugstore brand. I used this for 4 months but my face was still dry. I find that it just sits like a film on top of my skin and can be rubbed off in little pieces. It makes my skin feel wonderful but I didn’t find it very effective.
This product feels amazing and perfect for combination skin
I have combination skin at the moment due to medication (previously chronically dry) so picked this up as a cheap stop-gap because none of my old products were suitable for my now oilier skin.
This gives the perfect amount of moisturisation overall on my face, my drier bits still feel moisturised but my oiler parts just look glowy and I'm not dripping in oil.
It dries down to a nice finish and make up applies nicely over the top.
It does have a strong scent but I like it and it fades quickly when it dries.
If my skin ever goes back to dry I will probably switch over to the cream version as I don't think the gel would be moisturinf enough on its own but for now this works great for me.
