Great for dry skin!

What loved about this product was how creamy and rich it felt, while still being light in texture.
It absorbs well and feels great. Great for dry skin and I like the very light scent!

Amazing for dry skin!

I struggle with dry skin, especially in the winter and spring months. Finding a great moisturizer that can give me the moisture I need has been a challenge over the years, and of course being in my 40s doesn't help. I was so excited when the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream was sent to me and it couldn't have arrived at a better time with the still chilly, windy weather.

First of all, the texture is a gel which feels so wonderful on my skin. It absorbs instantly into my skin and doesn't leave any greasy feeling that some "extra moisture" moisturizers do. Even in the t-zone where I happen to be a little more oilier, it gives me just the right amount of moisture.

I wear makeup on a daily basis and using a moisturizer that doesn't pill under foundation is crucial. This moisturizer leaves my skin looking dewy enough and acts as an amazing primer under my foundation and concealer. My makeup looks fresher as well which is a nice benefit.

This moisturizer has definitely exceeded my expectations. I have used other gel-type formulas over the years from the more "prestige" brands, and the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream gives those a run for their money. My skin looks radiant, and I am super happy with the results I have seen. The price point is great. I have been using this jar for a few weeks now, and I still have a lot left. I love that there is no fragrance as well which is another important factor with my skincare as I find fragranced products irritate my skin. I think this will be wonderful in the summer months as well given that it feels so light on the skin.

Meh, not the biggest fan

This cream is a thicker unscented cream, a bit heavy and sorta greasy feeling afterwards. It’s not my favourite. I prefer to use it on my elbows or feet where I get bad eczema/ dry patches. It is very hydrating but if I use it on my face I put the tiniest amount so it’s not greasy feeling. I prefer the hydro boost serum over the cream! Light texture

It has interesting texture. It looked like a cream but once I applied over my face, it was like a fragile foam. Light moisture level and no stickiness.

Decent lightweight moisturizer

I liked the scent. I liked the feel of it and a little goes a long way. I did break out in some spots but I’m not surprised. Moisturizers tend to do that to me. After a while of using it I’m sure my face will get used to it.
The brand wanted a review so fast after receiving the sample though.

Better than the original

I used to use this moisturizer and I found that it was nice, but never really moisturized my skin. I really love this new formula and It definitely is much more hydrating. My makeup sits nicely on top, and I don’t notice my skin drying up throughout the day.

Skin feels as new and hydrated.. good for anyone with dry and irritated skin.

Great product

Excellent face cream, very nourishing and long lasting. Fragrance free which is nice. Comes in a posh glass jar. Same superior quality of all Neutrogena products.

Works on my ultra sensitive skin

After receiving the cream I did a test patch to see if I could continue to use the gel and I did not develop a reaction which is amazing because I can’t use any other product on my skin. I liked it so much that I went out and bought the cleanser to add to my routine. I will continue to use the hydro boost line . I am so happy that there is a product line that actually helps my skin.
