Dry climate? No problem!

I received a jar of NEUTROGENA® Hydro Boost Gel Cream Extra-Dry for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

The timing to try this cream couldn’t have come at a better time. I had recently traveled to a humid climate, and upon my return to Alberta, Canada, I knew I would be facing the challenges of a dryer climate, which always plays havoc on my skin.

This product is designed for extra-dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. I love that it is fragrance-free and lightweight and soaks into the skin effortlessly. It doesn't feel too creamy but is water-based, which is excellent news for soaking in quickly without a heavy feel. It felt super-hydrating, with the effects lasting all day without the need for reapplying. I especially felt the benefit under my eyes, where dryness can make that area look dull and sagging, but even after just two days of use, I noticed the skin plumper and brighter.

I highly recommend this cream to anyone with dry and sensitive skin who needs a boost of hydration without worrying about breakouts or skin irritation.

Skin feels super duper moisturized!

I have never used the old formulation of Hydro Boost, but this new version is incredible. I have naturally dry skin and when you add artificial heat and harsh Toronto winter winds to the mix, my skin gets pretty miserable this time of year. I like to slather my skin in a moisturizer at this point but I find they mostly just sit on the surface making my clothing, hair and pillow a mess. I also find other brands tend to make the skin sting. Not Hydro Boost! This sinks into the skin but leaves a nice comfortable and importantly clean, non-transferable film on the skin that feels light and not odd and artificial. The moisturizing properties seem to last the entire day/night and the benefits seem to build the longer the product is used. After two weeks of constant use, my skin physically feels transformed, no dry patches and it feels as though it is naturally moisturized.
The consistency is fun and the packaging is beautiful to boot.

Made my skin so soft!

This is super light weight and jelly feeling on my skin which I love. It made my skin super soft just after a few days. My skin looks hydrated. Living in Canada my skin has been very dry last couple months this helped a lot. Have already repurchased as it was on sale. I have been using Neutrogena products since I was a teenager and will continue to.

Bye bye dry

I suffer from extremely dry, flaky skin on my face and am always searching for good skin care products. I've only used this cream/serum a handful of times but already going to get the cleanser to complete the routine.
I was pleasantly surprised at the change in my skin so quickly. The product is light, and absorbs quickly. Immediately my skin feels quenched. And that feeling lasts all day/night. No yucky scents. I give it a full 5 stars!

It's so hydrating!

NEUTROGENA® Hydro Boost Gel Cream Extra-Dry is fragrance-free and designed for extra dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. It contains Hyaluronic Acid and Natural Moisturizing Factors.

The texture of this gel cream is a thicker gel that melts into my skin and leaves it feeling so hydrated. It absorbs pretty quickly and leaves a protective barrier on my skin without feeling heavy or greasy. It is also truly fragrance-free. Unlike some products that give off a faint chemical or cream scent, this gel cream had zero scent, which I loved.

I immediately felt the difference in how hydrated my face felt. I have sensitive, super dry skin that doesn't stay feeling hydrated for long after applying most products. This gel cream left my skin feeling hydrated all day in between my morning and evening application. My face did not feel tight or flaky at all. I can't wait to see the longer-term benefits if my skin feels this good after only a few days.

Hydrating gel moisturizer!

Usually gel moisturizers are known to be light and so is this product. Gel moisturizers I’ve use have usually never been hydrating but this one is. I’m quite shocked that they’ve come up with something in between!

Gel cream extra dry

I received this as a product tester and I'm so happy I got to try this extra dry product! Used immediately after washing my face, usually I get super dry and flakey but oh boy I love this stuff ! Works amazing! I always struggle with the dry flakey face and to find a awesome product that does not leave my face dry after use is amazing !
