Lightweight moisturizer for sensitive dry skin

I have used Hydro boost Cream for extra dry skin and this is lighter version of it with gel cream formula. If you suffer from really flaky extra dry skin i would recommend The original cream as i have used that after my micro needling to heal my skin . This is lightweight formula for Dry skin. I pair it with serum and absolutely works beautifully. My skin is not as much as dry it used to be so it is good for my skin for everyday routine.

All day moisturizing

The Hydroboost gel cream is a perfect fit for my dry skin. Once I apply this cream it absorbs right away and leaves my skin feeling and looking moisturized for the rest of the day. With using this daily, my skin looks more fresh and healthy. It really keeps my skin looking taken care of. I found that the older formula was initially more hydrating but this one leaves my skin just as soft throughout the day.

Sensitive skin friendly hydration!

I have previously used an older formulation or different variation of this product that had more of a typical gel-like consistency and I can confidently say that the Hydro Boost Gel Cream Extra-Dry formulation is way more suited to my skin type. I have super dry and sensitive skin and although gels feel soothing on the skin, they typically don't provide me with enough moisturization. The packaging is luxe-feeling as it's glass, but it's also recyclable which is great to see. It is also fragrance-free which is much appreciated for sensitive skin. This is advertised as a gel cream and I definitely get both the gel and the cream aspects of it. It is like a gel in that it has a cooling and soothing sensation on the skin, yet it also provides the creaminess and moisturization of a standard cream formulation. This cream is lightweight but hydrating. It leaves a tiny bit a of greasy feeling on the skin initially, but absorbs quickly so I'm not too bothered by that. Overall, I am enjoying using this as a daily moisturizer and think it complements the Hydro Boost Ultra Hydrating Serum well in my daily skincare regimen.

Worth buying

I love the softness on my skin when applied and it keeps my face hydrated. It’s a good moisturizer worth buying again. I use it for my morning and night skincare routine.

Love this soft silky gel cream!

I received the Hydro boost gel cream extra-dry from @Neutrogena for @butterly to #tryforfree to test and give my review. Due to my acne prone skin, I’ve used any of the cleansers and peels from any brands, to try to keep my skin acne free but I still get acne as well as dry skin and I’ve been struggling to find any serum/moisturizer that would help with both issues. The gel cream is silky smooth without any of the greasy/oily feel and it is light weight. I love that it’s fragrance free seeing that I am sensitive to some fragrance. First time I tried this gel cream, I noticed how hydrating my face became. It took a few days for my skin to adapt to a new change which is this serum and gel cream. My face is more softer, plump and glowy. It’s just about summer and it’s a perfect time to keep using this to keep my skin hydrated and hopefully free of acne! Definitely recommend this. Bonus ; it’s affordable and at any stores :).

goes on smooth

Goes on very smooth, unfortunately for my extra dry skin. My skin absorbed this up and needed more product (which would mean I would use more than the average person, other wise with people with normal skin I would recommend this product.

Lightweight yet hydrating

I was pleasantly surprised at the way this made my skin feel. It was extremely lightweight, yet made my skin feel soft, subtle and plump. It absorbed extremely quickly and my makeup laid on top of it well.

great for summer

I like the gel texture and it is for dry skin which is what I have! Not all brand have a gel cream for dry skin type, usually it is for oily skin or combination skin! Also the scent is not too strong or anything which I was concern at first, but feel nice and smell nice, I would buy it if the price is not too high or wait for a sale!

Best Gel great for Extra-dry skin!

I have very-very dry skin. I am using NEUTROGENA® Hydro Boost Gel Cream Extra-Dry from few days in my morning skincare routine and I must say it has improved my skin. The flakyness of my skin has gone and it has become very supple. My skin is feeling hydrated now and glowing. It is a gel cream so it gets absorbed in the skin very quickly and doesn’t leave any heavy residue.It is great for use in all seasons. Also this is fragrance-free. I got this cream as free in exchange of my honest review.
