This is an awesome self care duo. The moisturizing gel cream is perfect for super dry skin & definitely helps when applying makeup. It isn't sticky like many other gel creams but satiny.

Hydration, hydration, hydration!

Thank you Neutrogena and Butterly for the opportunity to try this hydrating gel cream. I paired this with the hydro boost serum quite a bit, but to review it alone, I used it several times by itself so I could judge the efficacy. It’s fragrance free and does not have the “unscented” scent some other products do, so that was a great start for me. It’s intended to start off more like a cream than a gel, so while it’s leaving your face feeling hydrated, soft and smooth, it doesn’t leave it with the “wet” feeling I find gels can have. It’s also not sticky, greasy or messy in any way and goes on very nicely. It was an instant moisture boost, and I have very dry skin during the start of spring so this made my skin very happy. Normally I would use it twice daily but if I felt my skin feeling dry and tight from the weather or other makeup products, I would immediately use a little of this and my skin felt great. I absolutely recommend this, with or without the serum and this is something I plan to keep buying. Thank you Neutrogena!

Exactly What My Very Dry Skin Needed!

I have always had combination skin, but now it has been very dry, which I assume is due to aging! As well as living somewhere with very harsh winter conditions! This new formulation of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream has been a game changer. My skin soaks it up and has become what I would say is normal skin! Along with the Serum has also helped boost it to levels I've never experienced! This has balanced my skin! I was able to wear foundation without it going cakey for the first time in about 8 years! I stopped even trying to wear foundation of any kind, BB, CC, tinted moisturizer, everything went cakey. Which led me feeling down, as nothing was working. So I can honestly say thank you so much for this formula that my skin just loves!

Best light weight moisturizer

I’ve loved this moisturizer for years!! It’s such a great option for people that don’t like a heavy moisturizer on their face as it’s very lightweight!! It leaves your skin feeling moisturized without feeling heavy or greasy! I also love how the container is now recyclable glass!

Very hydrating

Worked well for my very dry skin! With the winter coldness in Canada, my skin usually takes a good beating with dryness. I started using this moisturizer and have been incredibly impressed! No scent, which is nice. The container is recyclable which is also a huge bonus and is part of the reason for 5 stars! Simple, hydrating, recyclable, scent free!

Love it

I found it perfectly hydrating and kept my skin soft all day. I have very dry skin and glad they came up with this. love the texture and theres no scent. I do wish there was a pump version of thid however as i dont like sticking my fingers in the pot. Regardless very good quality cream.

10/10 I love it! Feels light and does the job

The first time I used this gel, I put it on my face before bed and loved it instantly. It has no fragrance, feels light and made my skin feel soft. I am 41 and live in Toronto, we have harsh winters and my skin is dry. I use it 2 times a day, under my makeup in the morning and before bed. It doesn't affect the way my foundations sets on my face, which is a great bonus. In only a week, I have noticed great improvement in the overall appearance and feel of my face and neck. I think the price is very reasonable, I am excited to see how my face and neck look after a month of using it. Thank you so much

Super soft!

This cream is great! It hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling silky smooth. Has a very subtle scent and is not irritating at all. It's also very rich.

I trust the brand since long time ago but never purchases this product to try. Winter weather here is so dry that it makes my skin red and itchy. This product works like wonders. Smell is very light a d all of it gets absorbed by my skin. You can tell my skin is hydrated and looks like I drink gallons of water. Love this product!

Amazing product, extremely moisturizing, very-light gel formula. It worked very well under the make up as well. I have the sensitive skin and didn’t notice any irritation at all!
