Hydrating!

I received this product for free for my honest review from ChickAdvisor. I have really dry skin and this cream has done a great job at hydrating my face. It is light and absorbs very easily. I also love how affordable this cream is.

I love a lot of things about this gel cream!

There were a lot of wins with this product:
1) feels really nice going on - almost a cool, soothing feel
2) sits nicely on my skin and good for applying makeup over top
3) non-greasy formula which is important for me because I tend to get oily in spots

The only drawback is that I didn't feel it was always quite hydrating enough on its own. On a day my skin was feeling particularly dry, I felt the need to apply a cream moisturizer on top of this. But, still a great product that I recommend and can see myself using all summer long (when my skin tends to not be super dry).

Good product

Worked well, not my favourite product by neutrogena but I’m very glad I got to on try it.
I’m going to try using it longer, right now I’m not sure if I would repurchase

A little bit expensive for regular Moisturizer

I got it free from the ChickAdvisor. Since receiving it, I have only used 3-4 times. It is moisturizing enough for my dry-oily skin. I only get pimples when I use different product or during periods. It Does not break out my skin as promised. My skin feels baby smooth. It's expensive compared to my Ordinary Moisturizer. Would purchase it if it came in tube format. I have long nails, so I do not like creams getting stuck into it.

Great product

I normally use a different moisturizer under my makeup but I decided to give this one a try. It felt light and not greasy under my makeup and it didn't create a shine. Overall I liked the product but it's a bit pricey.

Hydrates without the oily feel

I received a small, sample sized tube to try out and review with the Neutrogena Hydra Boost Sun and wipes. I was really excited because I love gels and gel creams since I have oily combination skin.

I loved the texture, it was light and more of a gel than a cream. I like that it absorbed into my skin easily. My skin was moisturised and felt very nice. I used this at night, and felt that my skin was hydrated into the next day. The scent was light and did not bother me. Since the sample was small, there was only enough for a couple of uses and I wasn't able to tell what the longer term effects would be on my skin.

Overall, I liked the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream. It hydrated my skin without the oily feel. Ladies and gents with oily skin will like this moisturiser.

Best moisturizer I have tried!

I received the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream for free through ChickAdvisor. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and fine lines appearing on my forehead. I tested this product during the Canadian winter which makes my skin have dry flaky spots, this product cleared those dry patches up in two uses. From using this product for over a week I have noticed a more balanced skin appearance (no dry patches and limited excess oil). I have not noticed an appearance on my fine lines as of yet. The product has not caused me to break out, irate my skin, or cause cystic acne which many products have done to my skin. It takes a pea sized amount to cover the entire face and absorbs into the skin quickly after applying. The texture is smooth and gel-like and the smell is a medicinal type of fragrance, I can’t quite place it, I am sure some would enjoy it and it disapates after 10ish minutes. At this time I would repurchase this product as it is one of the few products that work for my sensitive skin.

I like it

This gel cream absorbes very quickly so it worked great with other products that would go on top of it (sunscreen, primer, foundation). However, if you are sensitive to scents this may not work for you as it has a very strong scent (fresh floral) that will linger.

Smooth and Soft

I #gotitfree the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream through ChickAdvisor. I love this cream! It is moisturizing without being heavy. It left my face slightly shiny, but given the time of day it is used it's acceptable. The scent is light and pleasant and leaves your skin feeling great for hours. Given the set it came with though, I'm unsure exactly what it is used for. Is it used before the sunscreen, as an after sun lotion or a nighttime moisturizer? No matter what this use I would definitely recommend this product. It is quite expensive for a full sized bottle ($19.97), which is it's major downfall. At that price, I would probably not purchase this product, although I love how it left my skin feeling.
