It's ok
Unfortunately I am not a huge fan of the product, because I don't really notice any difference to my skin. I've given it quite awhile (minimum a month) of use and I can't say I see any differences. I also took it with me to the desert to see if when my skin gets a little extra dry there, this would have a more significant impact- unfortunately it didn't. It feels a bit like putting a very thin gel on your skin and can be a little sticky. I do like the pump option, and it did help minimize my pours. Outside of those two things, it was not effective for me. My skin is normal to oily. I do normally have success with neutrogena products so this product will not deter me from the brand in general but I will be mindful of similar items.
Holy sticky, Batman.
I received this in the Chickadvisor Showcase Kit. It is sticky as hell and I had trouble getting the little globs to dissolve. I also notice no difference in my skin, I gave it a week. I really do like the pump option, I wish more companies would do this instead of jars, much more hygienic and better for dosage.
Meh
Thoughts:
-a little sticky even after drying for a few minutes
-smells a little perfumey for my liking
-non-comedigenic is a plus
-not sure of the toxicity, but there are no parabens that I’m aware of :)
Unsure of effectiveness
I received this to try at chickadvisor showcase 2018. This booster seems promising, with claims of hyaluronic acid. It is very much scented and takes a while to dry down. Even after a while it leaves a sticky feeling. I would like to try it out more. #multivitaminbooster
Neutrogena booster
I do like their booster moisturizer, this serum, have the classic Neutrogena scent, at first I do notice it take a little while long to dry down, in that process, it is abit sticky, so it might even be a good primer, haven’t used it long enough to experiment with t yet. Once it drys down, it looks matte, so it might be a good moisturizing serum for the oil/combo skin ladies.
New moisturizing primer?
Have to try this longer to give a full review, but upon first impression I did note that a very light layer leaves the skin feeling moisturized with a slight tackiness - so this feels like it might be a great primer for the winter months. Hyaluronic acid means the moisturizing effect is carried past initial application, so I’m looking forward to seeing how my slightly dry patches look after prolonged usage.
Lightly scented, which is a mild concern, but it is a very slight smell. Skin doesn’t feel irritated at all upon initial application. I do feel that $24.99 might be a bit high for the 30mL bottle though.
Quick note: make sure to not apply too much or the slight tacky feeling stays. Dry down does take some time when too much is used. One pump for the whole face!
Ingredient list is questionable
Positives: This has a pleasant and not overpowering scent. It’s very light and fresh. Makes skin feel soft and smooth!
Negatives: There are a lot of alcohol based ingredients in it which can be very drying for your skin. Also the texture is quite thick when one of the little beads bursts and feels almost like rubbing liquid soap into your skin.
Not bad
I’d have to try this over some time before I can put in my full review but when I put it on my hand it feels a bit tacky to the touch even when it’s dry. I like the ingredients in this so hoping this is a good serum in the long term and hopefully it’s worth the price tag!
Check back in 2 months
On first inspection this product seems great: a nice lightweight feel on the skin, silky texture, and a clean scent that isn’t overpowering. I also like that it’s listed as being non-comedogenic as my sensitive skin doesn’t need any more encouragement to break out. I would need to use the product for a few months before commenting on the effectiveness but I’m looking forward to trying.
I wouldn’t buy this product
The packaging is nice. But 24.99 for a 30ml bottle might not be worth it.For someone with sensitive skin, I don’t know that this product will care for my skin in the ways other products might.
