Good oil-free gel moisturizer option
The night pressed serum is actually more of an oil-free moisturizer. I would even use it during the day even though it says 'night'. Can be layered with other heavier moisturizers during the winter
Unique product
I’ve never used a serum you wear overnight and wash off in the morning. I was worried it would be messy but that wasn’t a problem. It left my skin feeling soft and supple the next morning
Highly Scented - Not for those sensitive to scents
The Hydro Boost Night Pressed Serum is a really interesting concept that is new to me. It's almost like a firm jello consistency and it applies kind of like a gel. The serum promises 3x more hydrated skin by restoring and revitalizing your moisture barrier overnight which I'm sure most people's skin can use.
First off, I need to say that I found the serum too strongly scented. It smells kind of like a clean linen laundry scent which is fine but I think it's a bit too pungent for a face product. I found it difficult to not smell it on my face after application. For those sensitive to scents, I would not recommend it. If Neutrogena dialled back on the pungency of the smell it would make a huge difference.
As for the product, it felt nice going on. I applied it after using the Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum (see other review) and it felt slightly cool and applied very smoothly. I was only able to test this product out for 5 days as I couldn't stand the strong scent. However, if strong scents aren't an issue I think you would like this night pressed serum.

Great to use 3-4x a week
Because of my dry skin, I wanted to use this every day but I noticed I couldn't use it daily. Using it for majority of the week and giving it a break on the weekends has been most valuable to keep my skin feeling great. After using this product at night, I did notice waking up in the morning with more supple skin which I didn't experience with my current night time moisturizer. I would recommend this to use, with breaks in between.
Good result
I used it for 2 weeks and the result is amazing. My skin changed totally, look younger and not much dark spot. I love the product and definitely recommend this product.
Neutrogena Hydro boost Night pressed serum
I have love my sample for the Neutrogena night serum hydro boost ! It smells great it’s smooth on the skin and feels good after you apply it ! I have used this product for the last 2 weeks and my skin feels great and smooth !! Thank you would recommend .
Great for summer!
Truth be told I haven’t used a lot of Neutrogena products before receiving this duo (with the Hyaluronic Acid Serum) - Oh! Outside of their Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes Singles (that come individually wrapped) which are such a great idea for travel (when we could and when we can again :)
I like the blue and white packing of the pot and
it has a lovely fresh scent I liked - but if you are sensitive to perfumes just something of which to be aware.
This night-time serum is in between a water gel to cream thickness. I definitely like a richer moisturizer as I tend to drier skin and still quite liked it - being oil-free I think this could be perfect for someone with oilier skin to get the moisture they need without it feeling heavy on their face - especially with summer coming up!
It leaves my skin feeling smooth, kind of like how it feels after applying Smashbox primer (so you would have to play with it but maybe if used, with enough time to ensure its absorbed, you could skip that step?) Also containing Hyaluronic Acid it helps your skin absorb and retain hydration.
Retailing for about $17CAD so a great price point and value for full container of product.
A M A Z I N G
I have been using Hydro Boost products from Neutrogena for 3 years now and I can say that this product is heavenly!
I am really glad that I got the opportunity to try it! I have an oily skin but this serum doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all when I apply it. I would super recommend it!
Awesome
This felt so great on the skin! It was refreshing and didn’t feel heavy at all! Smelled great and a little went a long way. The jar can for sure be reused or recycled and it’s super cute packaging! Totally recommend to any skincare routine or skin type
