Hydrating serum

I received the Neutrogena® Hydro Boost Ultra Hydrating Serum from butterly to try for free and in exchange for my honest review.
I find the serum to be lightweight byt delivers deep hydration to my dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. It instantly improved the look and feel of my skin, giving it a dewy glowy look. I've been using it daily after cleansing my skin, and right before applying my moisturizer. I also like that it is fragrance-free, dye-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free, which makes it a fantastic option for sensitive skin like mine. Unfortunately, after a couple of hours of application, I felt my eyes nerves strained and aching in a discomforting way. Overall, it is a great add-on to my skin regimen.

Good consistency for people with mild dry skin

I liked this product but having medium to extra dry skin, I need something like gel crème. This serum is great for my skin but for a shorter period of time. I need to apply at least 3 times a day to keep my skin hydrated. I will recommend this product to people with mild dry skin.

A Very Nice Serum

I really enjoyed working with this serum. It absorbs easily and leaves the skin feeling hydrated. It has layered well with my other skincare favourites. I have used this serum both in the morning and in the evening. Although I enjoy scented items, this is still a very nice serum to work with and I have looked forward to reaching for it. Since it is available at the drugstore, it is accessible. I also loved the blue packaging and the glass bottle made the product feel high quality. This is a wonderful product!

Use it under make up

The texture is very light and thin, good for applying under your makeup. As my skin was dry and even make up could not cover the dryness, it helped to cover my dryness.

Neutrogena Hydro boost ultra hydrating serum

I have been using Neutrogena Hydro boost ultra hydrating serum every morning for the past 2 weeks and have had amazing results. I received the product for free from butterly marketing for research and review purposes and I absolutely love the product. The product comes in a convenient pump bottle and the product is very light and fragrance free which makes it very hard to even feel it when it's on your face. It's so light and refreshing and applies easily into your skin as well as rinses off easily. My skin has noticeably been more hydrated and more plump since using the product. I've also noticed that some fine lines and wrinkles have been reduced since using the serum. After using the serum in the morning I am able to use other skin care products or makeup over top of the serum without any problems. I have sensitive skin and had no problems using this product whatsoever. I highly recommend trying this serum especially if you have dry skin as it gives it a hydration boost and makes it look much more healthy.

It’s a solid serum

The serum is light and effective. I love that has no fragrance and it absorbs so very quickly. There is no pilling after I put The moisturizer on. Makeup goes on nice and smooth as well. I just miss an SPF.

Neutrogena® Hydro Boost Ultra Hydrating Serum Fragrance Free is a god sent, so far I skin feels hydrated, and I am not that good on applying it everyday since sometimes I forget, but when I used you can see the difference. I did not rate it 5 stars because I have been using it only for 5 days now, but so far so good :)

Elegant feeling

This serum feels very elegant on my skin. I have a very dry skin. It gets specially worse during the winter season. This serum is the perfect boost my skin needs.

Hydration boost delivers

Keeping skin hydrated always seems to be a tricky task, especially during seasonal changes!

Neutrogena and Butterly recently sent me the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Serum for free to give a whirl and I have been using it for the last week.

This serum boasts a burst of hydration for a softer and glowy complexion. The weightless formula is enriched with hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and electrolytes. This combination of ingredients promises to provide a surge of 8x the hydration to the skin than that of untreated skin and is designed for those with dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin.

It also aims to increase improvements to the skin over time, including leaving skin feeling more revitalized and replenished at the 2 week mark, while adding on a feeling of greater resiliency by week 4. It is fragrance, paraben, phthalate, and dye free, as well as allergy and dermatologist tested. Not to mention that the bottle is recyclable glass.

As I have only been using the serum for a week now, I can not speak to the longer term benefits yet, I will simply provide my observations from this week. First the texture, it is a very fluid texture, one pump is all that I need to cover my face and neck, it is cooling upon application (and I am not keeping it in a cosmetics fridge as I don’t have one) and feels refreshing. I have found the serum to provide a good level of hydration and it pairs well with the Hydro Boost Gel Cream (also sent free for me to test out). So far, I have noticed some improvement to my overall skin hydration and skin texture. I have noticed specifically that my makeup application has been smoother. I have been dealing with drier skin lately as a result of the seasonal change and that has been impacting the quality of my makeup application so that has been a nice change this week. It does not leave skin feeling sticky or like it has a film on it, just clean and smooth.

Overall, I think this is a good product but I reserve full judgement to further time testing it out. Looking forward to seeing how the next few weeks goes for the full results.
