As a 30-year-old skincare enthusiast, I'm excited to share my thoughts on NEUTROGENA® Hydro Boost Gel Cream Fragrance Free. This gel cream, packed with hydrating ingredients like Glycerin and Sodium Hyaluronate, promises deep hydration. However, the inclusion of synthetic beeswax, derived from petroleum, raises environmental concerns due to potential contamination with harmful substances such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), linked to cancer. Some individuals may also have sensitivities or allergies to petroleum-derived ingredients, leading to skin irritation or allergic reactions. While not a direct health risk, the extraction and use of petroleum contribute to environmental pollution and climate change, which can have indirect health effects on populations. The use of a glass jar for packaging supports sustainability in skincare, preserving the gel cream's potency while reducing environmental impact. Works well

I love the pump style and the quality is top notch. It works well combined with the moisturizer. I use it right after i shower on wet clean skin. Then top it with the cream. Hydrates well and keeps my skin feeling fresh.

This product packs so much hydration. It leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and hydrated and looking flawless. . It's super light weight making it perfect for under makeup wear or on its own.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Serum - Great skincare line

I was so excited to try this product for free for my honest review and was even more surprised when it arrived and was a full size product - WOW!

Starting with the packaging I love the simple yet elegant look of this product. The container is not flooded with a bunch of text and the beautiful ocean blue colour looks great on display on both my bathroom counter and makeup table.

Regarding the Serum itself I think it will be great for those with dry skin as it is very hydrating. It goes on smooth and leaves a nice shine to your skin. The thing I love the most is that it is not greasy and doesn't leave your face feeling sticky. Left my face feeling soft when paired with the Hydro Boost cream.

Overall I am really liking this line and am looking forward to seeing the results of it after prolonged use.

Lovely

This serum is super soft and absorbs well on my skin. It leaves my skin hydrated and feels absolutely wonderful. It doesn't have any smell which is a bonus.

Soft like silk

After using this product for a couple days, I noticed that my skin was moisturized and silky soft. The serum is not heavy or oily or greasy, and absorbs quickly without the weighing down feeling that you may feel with other creams or serums.

I used it with the cream and its has been a perfect combo. The product is light but super hydrating. I noticed more glow on my skin upon using it for couple days. No more dry spots!

No fragrance, full hydration!

I really enjoyed using the Neutrogena® Hydro Boost Ultra Hydrating Serum Fragrance Free. It left my face feeling very hydrated after cleansing with no irritation. my Skin is not sensitive, but i really enjoy fragrance free products because all the extra fragrance can be so overwhelming . this serum was lightweight and gives that glass skin look!

Not overly hydrating

The @neutrogena Hydro Boost Ultra Hydrating Serum and Gel Cream have a similar gel texture but the serum is a bit thicker and the cream is bouncier. I don’t see a significant difference between the two in terms of hydration. Both dry a bit tacky but you can tackle this by decreasing the amount of product used at a time.

I think these two products will do better in the hot and humid Toronto summer months.
