Small amount hydrated and on you're way!!!
NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST WATER GEL SUNSCREEN SPF 50
Only a very small amount needed for a lot of coverage when applying. As for the ingredients Its pretty much has the same as youre average sunblock wich is good. It absorbs quickly and leaves you're skin soft. But its not a gell, its more like a cream type. The product, not all that thick and a little watery. I had to re-apply the product a few times. Since my job consiste of being outdoors you tend to get a little warm and sweaty. After a few times i found my skin a little grease like kinda shiny.
However its easy to use and it does "in a way" protect youre face from the sun.

My new go-to Suncreen
I received this product as part of the Product Review Club, and am so glad I had the opportunity to try it. I am fairly particular about what I use on my skin, and this sunscreen ticked all my boxes. The consistency lies somewhere between a gel and a lotion, goes on smooth, and feels incredibly light. My skin was hydrated and soft, as if I'd just applied moisturizer. The scent wasn't overwhelming in comparison to many sunscreen products out there, and I would feel comfortable using this on both my face and body. Although I'm uncertain the exact charge for the product, since this is Neutrogena, you can bet it won't be a ridiculous cost, so I'd say you're getting great value. Highly suggest giving it a try, I've already recommended to a few friends since I started using it.
Awesome Sunscreen!
This sunscreen is so light-weight and non-greasy feeling. This is the only sunscreen that actually doesn't feel greasy, it actually feels really nice! I never used sunscreen on my face because I felt gross, but I will start using this!! It feels more like a moisturizer! The price is really good considering how much I love it! I also haven't got burnt yet, so it obviously works! I can't say anything about how it smells because I have no sense of smell. I got this free through ChickAdvisor.
I forgot to mention that makeup sat well on top of this product, and it didn't make me break out! I'm just too excited about this stuff!
Works well!
Glad I got the chance to try this sunscreen for free through Chickadvisor. I wore it out on some sunny days and the sun is not that intense yet, but it seems to work well. Will be using this when it gets warmer out. Was surprised it didn't really feel gunky and thick like other sunscreens, which is one of the reasons I hate sunscreens. It goes on nicely, has a fresh clean scent, and feels more like a face cream. It's a bit expensive for what you get though
Good facial sunscreen with a catch
If there's one thing I say ON REPEAT to all my friends still enjoying their 20-something skin, is that SPF REALLY MATTERS Y'ALL! I'm glad one of the skincare rules I learned really quickly was to make sure I'm getting consistent SPF in my routine to prevent against premature aging and skin cancers.
So I was glad to test out Neutrogena's Hydro Boost SPF 50 Water Gel Sunscreen. I'm glad more drug store brands are providing offerings that rival the higher-end facial sunscreens out there for under $20. My other preferred sunscreen right now for the face is WAY higher and I'm always on the hunt for a drug-store version that delivers. The product promises a non-greasy, oil-free formula with hyaluronic acid that hydrates instead of drying out the skin application. And in this it succeeds.
No longer will you have to worry about looking like Casper after you apply. This one doesn't leave that oily film that so many others do, and if you apply it about 15 minutes before applying make-up, it's mostly pill-free for me!
All in all, not a bad release for the brand. My only complaint is the fragrance which is unfortunately the reason I'm not going to repurchase. But if you are less sensitive to fragrance issues, this might be a good one for you.

Good sunscreen
After receiving this for free to test I used it daily instead of my usual brand. I am a very fair skinned woman. I tend to burn very easily and require a sunscreen every day.
Scent wasn’t terrible. Was tolerable.
Overall texture was slightly more watery than I like for my sunscreen but definitely not a deal breaker.
I didn’t have any reaction to the product and didn’t seem to burn when I was out in the sun. It did leave my skin feeling more hydrated even after washing it off .
The real test will be when there are stronger UV rays during the warmer months. I will keep using it to see.
I got it for free, good ⛅
I got for free, this sunscreen is advertised to hydrate and moisturize skin while feeling light and refreshing, has a quite light, thin texture compare to other regular sunscreens on the market, and spreads very easily so you don’t need to use too much. It takes a minute to fully absorb, but I dislike that I still felt like a film on my face, and did not like the smell. It can be use under make-up without a problem. The price is not but for the broad spectrum UVA/UVB with SPF 50, which it is quite high, it will give you a good protection I will recommend this product, but I know there are other sunscreens lighter and with non to very light smell that suits me better.
Thank you for the opportunity.
Feels Gritty
I was chosen to try the NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST WATER GEL SUNSCREEN SPF 50 from ChickAdvisor for free in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions and it couldn’t have come at a better time! As someone who loves being outside and is a sun worshipper, I know how important a good sunscreen with SPF is. We finally got our first dose of sun this past week so I spent some time outside and put this sunscreen to the test!
The product comes in an easy to squeeze tube and dispenses easily. It is a creamy blue color that actually smells quite pleasant. It isn’t harsh like many other sunscreens and even upon drying still smells great on the skin! The product claims to quench skin with hydration and it’s non greasy formula won’t clog pores. It’s definitely non greasy and feels more like a moisturizer on the skin. It’s not the normal gross sunscreen consistency and it also doesn’t leave a white film on the skin. I didn’t find it to be as hydro boosting or moisturizing as I hoped and felt that it left my skin feeling really “gritty”. My fingers didn’t rub smoothly together and my arms almost felt dry. It definitely leaves some sort of uncomfortable funky residue and I would not be comfortable putting this on my face. The SPF 50 is great and definitely provides UV protection and when the weather gets warmer I think this will do a great job preventing sunburn! It says to reapply every 2 hours which is one con of this product for me. I wish it lasted longer without reapplication. I am torn on whether or not I would recommend or purchase this product as I like the SPF 50, I enjoy the scent and I love that there is no white streaks on my skin. I think the price at $15 + is a little steep for a sunscreen that you have to reapply every 2 hours and that leaves your skin feeling gritty and dry. Overall, I would probably wouldn’t purchase this again.
I was impressed with this sunscreen!
I received the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen SPF 50 for free as part of the ChickAdvisor review club. This product impressed me because it isn’t greasy or sticky like some sunscreens can tend to be and yet it was still moisturizing. For this reason, this is a great sunscreen to wear under make-up. The sunscreen that I was using previously on my face was a little on the greasy side and that changed the way my foundation looked when it was supposed to have a matte finish. The texture of this sunscreen is a little on the watery side but it blends into the skin seamlessly. One of the downsides of this product is its strong scent (and it does last for awhile), but it doesn’t bother me to the point where I can’t wear it. The quality of this product far supercedes its strong scent. The other downside for some may be the price as it retails for $15.99 for only 88ml.
Overall, I would recommend this product to those looking for a sunscreen that will moisturize their skin without leaving a greasy/sticky residue. As I mentioned earlier, this is a great sunscreen to wear under make-up. If you have any sensitivity to scents, this might not be the sunscreen for you because the scent does not fade away.
Non-Pore-Clogging Sun Coverage
I had the opportunity to try Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen SPF 50 courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I have VERY fair skin, so sun protection for me is a must, but I hate putting the greasy stuff on my face. I was very pleased with this product. It has a light, pleasant scent and spreads easily and evenly. It soaked quickly into my skin, leaving it feeling clean and moisturized. It does not feel like a typical sunscreen. I cannot comment on its effectiveness as far as sun-protection as I haven't been able to use it in hot, sunny weather. But I will definitely bring it with me to Europe this summer!
