Perfect for the warmer weather
Perfect for that spring time weather! I’m on the fence about this sunscreen, it is very thin and maybe it’s because I’m used to thicker sunscreen, I feel like this just wouldn’t do much protecting. I did find it pretty sticky as well. I did like the smell of it way better than any other sunscreen I have used though. It’d be a good daily sunscreen but for being out in the sun all day I dunno if I’d trust it. I recieved this product complimentary for reviewing purposes.
No Shine SPF
I thought this Neutrogena Hydro Boost SPF 50 was an effective BODY sunscreen that had no downsides. It absorbs fast and doesn't leave behind any streaks even though it's tinted a white palest blue (it says "water gel" but it's not transparent). It is a scent that I really enjoy but it's hard to describe: I'd say it's lilac with a faint undertone of bubblegum (I'm sure that's not correct but it's lovely and light). It doesn't give that super shine oil look that other spfs do, this leaves a faint moisturized reflection that looks natural but is not matte. It leaves skin feeling soft and smooth to the touch. The only negative thing I found with it is that it didn't work well for my face. After it absorbed and I would apply makeup the SPF began to slough off. I think it doesn't work well with products underneath it, and I use a base serum everyday. I experimented with using 2 different brands and types of day serum underneath and both had the same sloughing off of product after the spf dried. It was an unattractive slough that looked like large amounts of dead skin that I had to brush off with a dry cloth and made me wonder if the spf was no longer on my face. With that said, the packaging doesn't market it as a facial product. So overall I would say it's a great and fresh scented body spf and I love the fact that it's a high number at spf 50 so it is good value. I wouldn't recommend it for a face spf, but I do recommend it for a body spf that has a grown up chic scent. #GotitFree with ChickAdvisor Product Review Club
Water Gel Sunscreen
I only used the sunscreen a couple times. I found that it left my face oily and greasy. I am also not a big fan of using a 50 SPF on my face. On the other hand, the cream had a nice light smell and it was hydrating.
Feels so nice on skin, but pricey!
I was so excited to try out this sunscreen because I thought it would be perfect for my dry skin. It felt really nice and cool going on the skin and did a great job at hydrating. I also enjoyed it's scent, although if you don't like scented products, you might not like using this on your face.
Since this time of year is very dull where I live (definitely couldn't test it out to see if it prevented sun burns), I decided to test it out under makeup to see how well it could be used in combination.
I used it under my moisturizer, and applied my makeup as usual. Everything stayed on really nice throughout the day. I would definitely keep using, and re-buy this product but one down fall is that it's a bit expensive!

It's OK
I received this product to try for free from ChickAdvisor. I like that the product goes on smoothly and is easy to apply. At the same time, it is moisturizing as well. The only bad thing I would say about it is that it scented quite strong to the point of overwhelming at times.
J'aime ça
Woww j'étais très heureuse de pouvoir. L'essayer gratuitement grâce à chicadvisor. J'aime beaucoup l'odeur et la texture de la crème qui ne laisse aucunement une sensation grasse sur la peau.
Grease ball
I received this free from Chickadvisor to test out along with a sample of Hydro Boost Water Gel and makeup wipes. I have combination skin and I have been using this for about a week now. The scent is very nice. I had to shake the bottle because it was very watery. It has a light blue tint to it. The first time I used this I notice my skin was very dewy within 1 or 2 hours. I did not apply makeup or anything. I had to apply a setting powder over it after the first time using it. The times where I forgot to set my face, it looks like a grease ball after a few hours. The weather is cloudy with a bit a sun when I was using this. I can't imagine what it would be like if it was summer. My usual sunscreen is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 60 and I don't notice too much of a oiliness when I use that. I don't use a huge amount of this just enough to over my face and neck. Maybe it is just me but I don't know if I would recommend this for those who have oily skin.
Very moisturizing sunscreen
Although I have yet to try this in the hot sun (why is it snowing in April, Canada?!), I really liked the texture and feel of this sunscreen. It felt much more like a moisturizer and not like a greasy sunscreen. Smelled pleasant and has 50 SPF which is fantastic. It was absorbed into my skin without leaving a white layer like other sunscreens. This will be a go-to for my vacations and summer time.

Spread evenly on my skin
I was so glad that I get to try the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen from the chick-advisor product review club. I like that it has a nice "sun screen" scent that reminds me of a relaxing beach. It is different than my regular sun screen that it's not sticky and spreads well on my skin easily. I also like that it's SPF 50, so it lasts longer before I need to reapply. It's going to be a great product for summer activity!
