Feels Gritty

I was chosen to try the NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST WATER GEL SUNSCREEN SPF 50 from ChickAdvisor for free in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions and it couldn’t have come at a better time! As someone who loves being outside and is a sun worshipper, I know how important a good sunscreen with SPF is. We finally got our first dose of sun this past week so I spent some time outside and put this sunscreen to the test!

The product comes in an easy to squeeze tube and dispenses easily. It is a creamy blue color that actually smells quite pleasant. It isn’t harsh like many other sunscreens and even upon drying still smells great on the skin! The product claims to quench skin with hydration and it’s non greasy formula won’t clog pores. It’s definitely non greasy and feels more like a moisturizer on the skin. It’s not the normal gross sunscreen consistency and it also doesn’t leave a white film on the skin. I didn’t find it to be as hydro boosting or moisturizing as I hoped and felt that it left my skin feeling really “gritty”. My fingers didn’t rub smoothly together and my arms almost felt dry. It definitely leaves some sort of uncomfortable funky residue and I would not be comfortable putting this on my face. The SPF 50 is great and definitely provides UV protection and when the weather gets warmer I think this will do a great job preventing sunburn! It says to reapply every 2 hours which is one con of this product for me. I wish it lasted longer without reapplication. I am torn on whether or not I would recommend or purchase this product as I like the SPF 50, I enjoy the scent and I love that there is no white streaks on my skin. I think the price at $15 + is a little steep for a sunscreen that you have to reapply every 2 hours and that leaves your skin feeling gritty and dry. Overall, I would probably wouldn’t purchase this again.

I really love this, its perfect for summer, so light and gentle on my skin! Its not greasy and thats why I love it! I would totally recomment this product!

Feels Great!

With the upcoming summer months, I was happy to recieve this from ChickAdvisor and Neutrogena, for free!

I've never used a gel sunscreen before so I was excited to try it out. I'm used to using a cream moisturizer which usually leaves my skin feeling greasy. I really liked how this product was different. It was light weight, absorbed quickly into my skin and wasn't greasy. it was a great product to use under my makeup because it was so quickly absorbed.

Since the weather wasn't the best here in Toronto, I wasn't able to see how well it would work against heat and high UVB rays. I can only guess that it would work good since all the other attributes of this sunscreen are great.

I would recommend this product to those who get clogged pores when using other sunscreen moisturizers. I also highly recommend it to those who have oily skin and want a sunscreen that is quickly absorbed and feels light weight.

Nice product

It definitely has a none greasy feel after you've let it sit for a bit, a little goes a long way also with this product. I havent tried it under my makeup yet, but I've been using it everyday and so far it's great. Makes your skin feel hydrated and it doesn't break me out which is a huge bonus for me!

I really enjoyed using the sunscreen because it was lightweight and absorbed quickly into my skin. Often, sunscreens leave your skin feeling greasy or take forever to rub in, but not neutrogena’s hydro boost water gel sunscreen.

It provides great protection from the harmful UV rays and I didn’t feel like I was wearing sunscreen. It was such an enjoyable product to use!

I definitely plan on buying more for our upcoming trip down south and I will definitely be recommending it to friends and family!

I’ve been looking for a product just like this

I received this product as a free sample in exchange for an honest review from a ChickAdvisor. I’ve used this product only a handful of times at the moment as it’s still winter where I live however have been looking for a product exactly like this for some time. I will be using this now as my daily sunscreen on my face. It goes on smooth and doesn’t give a burning sensation that other sunscreens have given me when applied to th face.

Best sunscreen!

I #gotitfree to try from ChickAdvisor just in time for a recent vacation. This suncreen was perfect for my trip to a sunny destination. I used this sunscreen everyday, it was easy to apply and blend it in. I did find that my skin felt moisturized after, but not greasy. I would definitely use again!

Great facial sunscreen!!

I the chance to try this Neutrogena sunscreen for free thanks to ChickAdvisor. Despite winter hanging on tightly here in eastern Canada, I was excited to try this sunscreen in anticipation for the summer sunshine.

The sunscreen is gel based, it comes out with a very light cream consistency. The thing I hate most about putting sunscreen on my face is the thick and greasy feeling after it is applied. I found this sunscreen felt slightly greasy when it went on, but it absorbed quickly and left my skin feeling soft within minutes! It reminded me more of a face lotion than a sunscreen. It would be easy to apply makeup soon after application, which is fantastic for an SPF 50 sunscreen.

The smell is a 50/50 mix between floral and a traditional sunscreen smell. I actually quite enjoyed it. The fact that it has hyaluronic acid is also great for a drugstore brand of sunscreen.

The price for an 88mL product size is $15.99. I would definitely buy this product again, but only as a facial sunscreen as I would go through it too quickly at that price point if it was used as a whole body sunscreen.

I can easily recommend this product!!

Great Sun Protection

The hydro boost water gel sunscreen from Neutrogena is my new fave sun protection.

The sunscreen has a light scent that is not overwhelming. It absorbs well into the skin without leaving any kind of residue or heaven oily feeling on the skin. It made my skin feel more like I applied a moisturizer and not a sunscreen. The size of the product was great as well. Not too bulky and easy to carry around in a purse for when you are spending time outdoors. Will be purchasing this for sure

Hydrating protection from the sun!

I got to try this product for free and I was really impressed. I'm really picky about sunscreen, especially for my face. This product is quickly absorbed and feels very light on the skin. Leaves my sensitive skin feeling very hydrated. Great value!
