i received a bar from the neutrogena facebook promotion a while back. just got around to testing it. it has been a week long trial.

after i finish up my other facial cleanser, im definitely switching to this. i have sensitive & combination skin so its kinda difficult to find something that won't cause irritation AND helps with the combination skin factor.

when washing with it, it feels like its leaving a weird oily film on my face...but after drying and using toner, i could definitely see that it was in fact cleaner than i've EVER seen the cotton pad. i was amazed. not only does this clean very well, it does not dry and does not irritate my skin!

the only issue i have with this is that i need a separate soap holder for this...rather than just placing the normal cleansing bottle on the counter.

warning: people who love nicely scented things....will definitely be turned off by this. not the best smelling thing around.

Bought this when I was an early teen, not knowing my skin type, and needless to say, made my skin worse; dried it out and irritated it like crazy. Soap is not good to cleanse your face with; it dries it out. I learned that the hard way. Don't get me wrong, Neutrogena has great products, but I stay clear of the select few that don't work for me. I would recommend it to others, but it's a no go for me.

I received this soap as a sample a couple months ago. It works well but I don't think I'm a huge fan of bar soaps! They're just soo messy. I don't think i'll be purchasing this any time soon but for people who like bar soap go right ahead!

I remember as child my sister using this soap I was so intrigued by the clear glycerin soap sitting in the soap dish and always loved the smell.This soap has been around a long time and made by Neutrogena a reputable name that have great products. I've just been re-introduced to there products by a facebook promotion I was able to pick five of there products and this full size soap was one of the gifts.

Its available in original and fragrance-free.I have not tried the fragrance-free but prefer the light scent of the original and it does not hurt my sensitive skin.It is a glycerin based soap,no harsh detergents,perfumes or dye so it is super gentle on the skin.It doesn't strip my skin from any moisture at all it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft.This soap also looks pretty sitting in a soap dish.Great product Neutrogena.

I received my Neutrongena Original Cleansing Bar free from their face book page. You can buy a three bar package at most drug stores and at well.ca for around $7.89. The Neutrogena Original Cleansing Bar has bin around for many years and has bin and still is today recommended by dermatologists. This cleansing bar has a very strong scent to me that I wasn’t thrilled about, but if you can get past that it is a good cleansing bar for your face. They say it's pure and gentle, won’t clog your pores or leave any residue behind. That it can remove excess oil helping to clear your skin. It is hypo-allergenic and contains no harsh detergents, dyes or hardeners. Now because I’m pretty happy with the products I already use on my face I gave this to my son to try out for me. He’s bin using it for a few weeks now and says it has bin working pretty well for him, that the little bumps he was getting seem to be reduced and are almost gone. He said it lathers up really well with just a little bit of water and rinses away just as easily. That it left his skin feeling clean, but not that dry tight clean that a lot of other cleansers like it can do. Over all he said he would like to continue to use the Neutrogena Original Cleansing Bar once this bar is done. So I would recommend you give it a try, or have one of your kids give it a try if they are experiencing those little bumps like my son was getting.

I'm not a person that washes her face often. I admit I even go to bed with make up on. I've been fortunate to have good skin. That being said, as we age that changes. After 40 I found that I would get flair ups of bumps. And my forehead was dry. Ive tried creams,scrubs and soaps..no change. On June 15th '12, I received a 'Thank You' gift box from Neutrogena, in it was their soap. Ive used it every night before bed since. By day 3 I had no new flair ups and the bumps from earlier were going away nicely. I don't know what this soap is like for young skin, but this old chick is quite happy :) I recommend this product ;)
