My review

I was given the opportunity to try out this neutrogena grapefruit peel off mask for free from chick advisor. One con of this mask I would start off by saying is the packaging, it is meant to be a one time use mask but the packinging made it very difficult to use. The liquid is very messy , I used a face brush to spread it evenly on my face but trying to get it out without making a mess and have it drip everywhere was pretty much impossible to do. pros to this mask is that it smells amazing, once I got it on my face it started to dry almost instantly, I did have a few spots they were still wet and sticky that didn’t dry up completely but it did peel off in one piece for the most part which made clean up fairly easy. Overall I did like the mask, however I would prefer if the mask came in different packaging to make for easier application

Peel-Off Mask

I received the Pink Grapefruit Acne-Prone Skin Peel-Off Mask from Neutrogena for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review (#gotitfree). This product worked really well for me, but the entire process was pretty messy. I think that this product would definitely benefit from a different packaging - a tube/jar with an applicator would be ideal. It is really difficult to remove it from your hands after applying it to your face. This is a peel-off mask, not a sheet mask. I applied a thin layer of the product onto my face, then waited about 20 minutes for it to become clear/solidify - that is when you peel it off. It is important to keep it away from your hairline and your eyebrows, as it will pull/tug when you are peeling it away. This product leaves your face slightly pink upon use, so I would definitely recommend using it overnight or on a day when you don't plan on going out. Like most peel-off masks, I would use this sparingly - 1-2 times per week. My face felt refreshed and much tighter - I loved the results!

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for something that will leave their face feeling clean and refreshed - removing all impurities!

Super satisfying!

I absolutely loved this peel off mask. I haven’t had much experience with peel off masks since I tend to buy wash off masks, yet the peel is super satisfying!

My skin felt super clean and no longer oily. I highly recommend this peel off mask to anyone who enjoys the satisfying removal of the mask and wants a bargain for a mask that’s aimed for oily skin.

Alright

Its a nice gentle product that feels relxing on the skin. However I didnt find it as effective as the cleanser. It was very gentle on my skin but i have not seen a big diff as i did with the cleanser.

Great mask, annoying packaging

As I had mentioned in my review of their Grapefruit Clay Mask, they've got a great product. The jelly consistency was spread easily and peeled easily and I felt I could get the majority off in one pull. My biggest pet peeve with peel masks is when I have to pick at my face to get the little bits off and this was minor with this one. The packet however, holds too much product for one person and I shared it with my brother, but it is so annoying that I can't reseal it or store it for later. The squeeze package is annoying as my fingers will have mask on it when I got back to more and it just makes a mess. The mask is lovely, but I always have issues with these kinds of "one use" packaging. They should make it in a squeeze tube and just sell it for more money.

Not bad

I like the product. I think its a bit much for a one time application. Also I would have loved if this came in a jar rather than the pouch as it would be less messy. other than that I love it.

I've never used a peel-off mask before, but have seen those viral videos of people peeling off their charcoal masks in pain and was just hoping I wouldn't have a similar experience with this product! Had I used less of the product and avoided my hairline a bit more, I think I would have had a more pleasant experience, but as it was my first time using this type of mask, some mistakes were bound to be made!

The mask did sting slightly when first being applied, but went away quickly after the drying process began. I was quite surprised with how easily the mask peeled off - I was quite prepared to deal with lots of little bits left over on my face, but this did not happen. In the areas on my face with more hair, such as my sideburns, upper lip and sides of my temples, I found it extremely painful to remove the mask because it gripped so well, and ended up just wiping off the excess due to the pain. The smoother parts of my face peeled off very smoothly though.

My face was left feeling smooth and much cleaner than before and for the pores that didn't get fully cleared from the mask, I was easily able to pop/push the rest of it out - even on some of the most stubborn blackheads! Overall, I was pleased with the result despite the painful process and would recommend it to anyone, but would raise warning to those with darker and thicker body hair like myself!

Love this mask

I like the mild refreshing grapefruit scent of this mask . I love this peel off mask because it helps to clean the skin and get rid of clogged pores. # got it free to try.

J'ai déjà vu mieux..

Le produit est ultra collant dès sa sortie de l'emballage, difficile à nettoyer des mains après l'application, mais le résultat était quand même satisfaisant. Je ne crois pas me racheter ce masque par contre.

Nice

Ce fut la première fois que j’essayais un masque peel-off et j’ai eu la chance de l’obtenir gratuitement grâce à Chick Advisor.

Une très belle découverte puisque facile à appliquer, non salissant et super amusant à enlever. On ressent tout de suite une différence sur la peau qui semble aussitôt plus propre et douce. Sans oublier l’odeur qui est un coup de coeur!
