Peel off mask

I was extremely disappointed with this product, I found that I put it on my face and let it sit for way longer then advised and it still was no where close to being ready to peel off.. o ended up just washing 90% of the mask off. Still thankful I got chosen to try these products and my thoughts on the smell remain the same, they all smell great.

Not my kind of facemask

out of the 3 neutrogena pink grapefruit products i recieved, the peel off mask is by far my LEAST favorite, which is kinda sad because i used it first thinking i was goings to enjoy it the most. I did not like the texture or sent. It also did not leave my face in a better condition then before i used it. It was very very painful actually to peel off and left my skin red and very irritated. I would not recomend this product to anyone unless it was for torturing them with pain.

OUCH!!

I was so excited to try this when I received it in the ChickAdvisor review box, because I LOVE peel off masks and strips. This went on smooth, easy to apply, and dried fairly quickly... then the pain started.
I am not a stranger to peel off masks, but this... this was awful. This ended up feeling like a layer of stiff superglue all over my face that caused nothing but pain when trying to peel off. The smell is amazing, but the mask itself is not something I would give another go.

Dyed my face pink

This product smells great and was easy to use and apply except it left my face so dry and pink! I had to scrub my face multiple times in order for the dye to be removed from my face. This product made my cheeks so red and dry it was almost as if it chemically burned it.

Took forever to dry and stuck to my skin

While this product has the same amazing scent as the face wash and clay mask, I didn't like this peel off mask, unfortunately. It took forever to dry down on my skin enough to peel off. And when it finally did dry, it had practically adhered to my skin so it was nearly impossible to peel off in some places and even kinda hurt. it did leave my skin soft and clean looking, but I wouldn't use it again.

A Peel Off Mask that Simultaneously Waxes Your Face

I was very lucky to have been selected by Chickadvisor to try out this Neutrogena Peel Off Mask for free!

Now, to start off, I've used peel off masks before. I've never experienced any pain, issues, or reactions before. This mask is insane! It literally caused me pain to pull it off. I don't have a lot of facial hair but it pulled whatever was there out. My face the next day was so red and I had little bumps on both cheeks where I typically don't break out. I was super disappointed because my skin had been clear prior to using this product.

Secondly, this product is in a really big sachet and described as a 'single use' product. There is no way that this is only for one use -- I think I could easily get three out of it. And because of that, I don't like the size of the sachet. I would much prefer this type of product come in a tube because the packet just gets messy.

Application of the mask was super easy, but I did find it to be quite liquidy. You basically have one shot at getting this spread on your skin because it dries down quickly.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product. The packaging is poor (it looks like it should be a sheet mask). It grips too much to your skin. I left this product on for 10 minutes and it was pretty painful to take off. And lastly, something in this product caused irritation to my skin (or maybe it was the pulling at the skin from the mask). I would not recommend.

Honestly I followed the directions on this (as I do with all of my face products as to get the best results) and this product did not preform as expected. Minimal peeling meant I had to scrub the rest of the product off of my face and then wash the remaining product off with hot soapy water. Overall a fail.

One of the worse products I've ever tried

Masks are very popular lately so I was excited that Neutrogena jumped on the bangwagon and starting offering their own. This peel off mask caught me by surprised since I was expecting more of a sheet mask that you just place on your face, but when I tore the packaging, pink goo came out. I'm not sure why this liquid product is contained in such a large and flat packaging. The design is flawed and makes for a messy application. I accidentally ripped too much of the packaging and it was leaking everywhere. You then have to scrape the goo out with your fingers and apply it on your face. I think this product would have been a lot more successful if it just came in a tube and could be dispensed like any other lotion or cleanser.

The product itself smells fresh, like real grapefruits and is vibrant pink. As it dries, it provides a cooling effect on your skin and solidies into a plastic like film. I waited abut 25 mins before attempting to peel it off and this is the worse part... Man it hurts!
The instructions state to apply on a clean face so I had actually washed my face beforehand but I think this was a horrible idea. Peeling the product off feels like you are ripping off a very sticky bandaid on your most sensitive parts. I actually applied the mask all over my face and it hurt the most near my forehead and lower cheeks/chin. If you are just putting this on your nose, or if you have greasy skin, I don't think it would hurt as much.

Disappointingly, this mask did not work like pore strips one would apply on the nose area, it had no noticeable benefits, did not clean out my pores or cause anything significant and it was so painful that it irritated my skin more than anything.
My whole face was red and felt raw for nearly an hour after the peeling and even the next day, I had some patches that were irritated. Make sure you obey the warning of applying this far from your hair, as any tiny hair that did get stuck in the mask near my hairline, or eyebrows, ended up being plucked right out!

I have normal skin with occasional acne flare ups. I can't imagine who this product would be suited for. It's difficult to use, messy, and doesn't deep clean or remove any gunk in your pores. The peeling mask is a useless gimmick I hope dies soon. Stick with a regular cleaser or exfoliator.

I am not a fan of this peel mask. The grapefruit scents very strong, the mask it self was very sticky and hard to apply evenly . The peeling process was so painful ! My eyes were tearing up and my skin became irritated from the pulling and the worse is all this pain was for nothing because I didn't see any difference other than the redness.

I did not enjoy this product , i would not recommend nor buy again.

J'avais hâte de l'utiliser surtout que le rinçage n'est pas nécessaire et que je lai reçu gratuitement . Après l'avoir utiliser. Mon visage me brûlait et il était difficile de l'enlever. Selon moi il est trop parfumer pour la peau qui a de l'acné
