Fight wrinkles and get a dewy glow!

I received the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Retinol Oil to test out. I've used this for a week and so far so good. It has a mild scent and has the consistency of an oil that may take a minute or two to absorb into the skin. I used about 4-5 drops in the morning and night as recommended and did not experience much of a reaction. My face is dry and can be sensitive but this product just made my face a touch red for a moment or two before fading. I was able to layer other face products over top with no issues with the exception of an eye cream that when it was in contact with the oil created a burning sensation. My skin feels a bit smoother and softer but will need to use this product for more than a week to get a true sense of its effectiveness. Right now, I'm happy with the product and plan to use this up!

Great for deep set wrinkles!

Thanks to #chickadvisor and #neutrogenacanada I recently had the opportunity to #tryrapidwrinklerepaircanada Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil for free! I was very pleased that I got to #tryitfree as different products can cause different reactions and I really like to try products before I buy them, when I can. I have been a big fan of Neutrogena products for several years so I was looking forward to trying this one, of course! I used this product for exactly 1 week.

This retinol based oil recommends using twice a day for one week to start to minimise wrinkles,intensely nourish and reduce the look of dark spots. It contains a highly concentrated form of Retinol SA proven to dramatically reduce stubborn signs of aging.

The instructions state to use 4-5 drops twice a day. They also state that for best results, follow with Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream. I did not get this so the results may have been reduced.

First, I really like the bottle with the button pump and dropped, however, to measure a precise amount is a little tricky. It is mildly scented (which is not necessary in my opinion), but for those who are sensitive to scented products this is good to know. It's mild, but it is there, and it's similar to a linen scent.

This product is quite oily and takes a few minutes to absorb, and I have dry skin. Even in the morning I could still feel it on my skin. Not as oily or course, and my skin was softer. After about 3 days of use I did start to have some irritation. Red flaky patches on my forehead. Not itchy or burning, but visible red blotches. I stopped using it for a day and then reduced usage to once a day, and then back up to twice on day 5. The patches cleared up. They do state that this can happen. I'm guessing its pretty strong stuff. Must mean it's working! Not always, but it my case........ I had some results!

I couldn't see a lot of difference until I looked at my forehead. This is where the deeep set wrinkles WERE! They are much less visible now. A considerable improvement, which is great. The promise of younger looking skin in a week was fulfilled! To begin using this retinol oil I would recommend concentrating on areas that require serious attention. For really stubborn wrinkles this is quite effective.

Over time a reduction in dark spots and wrinkles should happen for most but it's going to take more than 1 week! For me there's do doubt that this product will make a difference. This is my new daily routine!

I am always a bit skeptical when trying new things for skin care as my skin can be sensitive to some products. At first glance I thought the retinol oil would cause my skin to look greasy and wet. I have been using it for about a week now and am completely blown away by how this product along with the prep cleanser have made my skin feel. I am going to purchase the moisturizer to go along with the other 2 products for my new daily skin care routine. I have noticed a difference in my skin as it feels softer and there is a visible difference in my laugh lines.

Left my skin craving a moisturizer

After preparing my skin with the scrub and then using the serum my skin was left feeling slightly oily but craving a moisturizer. I did notice a smooth feel to my skin but i also found a few pimples developed - which has not happened to me for years even though I use facial oils.

Overall i did not see a difference - but if you choose to try this regimen ensure you follow it up with a good moisturizer

Great base under makeup!

I received the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil complimentary to test. After using it for a few days, my skin feels and looks smoother and it’s a great base for foundation application. I recommend to friends and family!

Amazing Product!

I was so excited when received this product Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil to try out together with the Prep Cleanser as 2nd steps #gotitfree @ChickAdviser. My first time to try Retinol Oil with excitement, I could hardly wait to see the result that Rapid in just one week.This oil drop bottle is very easy to apply, super rich concentrated so nourishing overnight treatment leave on my face. This would work great in winter when the skin needs more care than summer, perfect to nourish and replenish dry skin.I will continue using it definitely to see better result in long run for any stubborn deep wrinkles, especially my cheek lines.Just one week is too short. Silky Smooth

I got this as part of a product review thorough Chick Advisor. I have been using this product for about a week now and only once per day before bed. I have notice a bit of tingling in my skin but that's normal according to the product instructions. I am not sure if it really diminish/reduce my wrinkle. The smell is neutral, didn't she'll the same as the prep cleanser. When applying it to my face, the product felt oily but went on smoothly. Skin feels nice afterwards but I did notice a pimple break out on a part of my face as I do have combination skin. I'm still a bit undecided on the effectiveness of this product but maybe if I used twice a day I would get quicker results.

big surprise in a little bottle!

This was all new to me. I have always been a basic girl with a basic facewash routine. I was a little hesitant in putting an oil product on my already combination skin. Boy was I wrong. I loved the bottle and the little liquid dispenser. I knew exactly how much to put on my skin and how much was being dispensed as I had control of that. It went on with almost a warming effect. it quickly was dispensed in my skin and left it silky. I was surprised and happy with the results. Now time will tell.

Great wrinkle repair!

I used the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair oil for a good week. I had no irritation, but I use retinol products regularly, so my skin has adjusted to the ingredient. I found it a bit awkward to apply, as it is very runny, but aside from that, it left my skin more glowy and soft, as well as fine wrinkles seemed less noticeable. I received the product for free in order to do an honest review. Thanks Chick Advisor and Neutrogena for the opportunity to try it.

Feels good & light to boot!

Being as I am in my early 50's I find myself in search of products that could help with the growing number of 'age' issues that are in need of attention now. When I was chosen to be one of the testers for this product, I was excited! :)

PROS:
The oil has a pleasant smell that dissipates while quickly absorbing into my skin. It is lightweight and doesn’t leave an oily film on my skin either. The formula is gentle and did not dry out my skin, nor did it cause any flaking, redness or irritation.

CONS:
Unfortunately, being as I do have oily patches on my face, I found the oil did clog my pores in a couple of spots, so found that couldn't use it as often as suggested.

COMPROMISE:
Seeing as I really liked how this product felt overall, I have found a great compromise by only using it once per day, plus I start by putting the initial amount on my neck (which tends to be red & dry but has lessened in both areas by doing this), and then wipe my face (away from the oilier areas) with my less-oiled hands.
