This oil goes on smoothly every morning and evening, and after just a few days use, I really found my skin had a renewed glow. Less wrinkles? Possibly... but a healthy glow for certain

Decent Starter Retinol Oil

I received a bottle of Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil from Neutrogena and Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest opinions.

Neutrogena's Retinol Oil is part of a multi-step system, in addition to a prep cleanser and follow up face cream. I already have some pretty strong retinol products in my regular routine, so I wasn't expecting to see much (if any) difference from using this product.

The product is a dry oil with a thin, watery texture. It absorbs quickly without feeling greasy and as a seasoned retinol user I did not have any adverse reactions or tingling sensations. It has a pretty unpleasant smell (part flowery, part mildew) that I didn't care for but it didn't linger for long.

I used the product nightly for 2 weeks (the amount of time I had between when it was received from Chick Advisor and when the campaign closed) and did not see any visible change in my appearance. This isn't to say that the product does not work, because I'm at an age where I don't yet have many prominent wrinkles that could use 'repairing'. The only tangible change I saw from using this system is that my entire face was noticeably softer. If you're just starting out with retinol this would be a decent place to start because it's fairly affordable and the formula seems pretty gentle. That said, I don't know that I'd personally repurchase this product; 2 weeks isn't long enough to expect results but perhaps with further use I will find it beneficial enough to buy again.

I think it works!

I only used it once a day before bed and it did feel wonderful. I feel like it was very good for my skin. I am not able to say definitively that wrinkles were removed since this product review timeline was quite short. I do however really like the product. It’s simple to use and I feel like it’s working. I would buy this product.

I did get the mild redness that they mention on the bottle, but it disappeared quickly and wasn’t substantial.

Rapid Wrinkle Repair

I was fortunate to receive a complimentary full size Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil for my honest review. I had never used an oil product on my face (I was leery because I do have oily skin). I applied the oil to one side of my face and after a week I could see a noticeable difference in the lines around my eyes. I questioned my daughter and she was able to correctly identify the side of my face the oil had been applied to. She said the lines were not nearly as deep. No red skin or breakouts were encountered.

A Treat for Your Skin

Just six drops of this oil easily covers the entire face even if I concentrate it on my trouble spots. It is easily messaged in and leaves the skin soft and and gives it a healthy glow without leaving a greasy residue. Though the product contains retinol it does not irritate my skin. It even helped soften and reduce the size of a scaley patch and I'm hoping it will continue to do so until it's gone entirely.
I like this product, however, during the time period I was given to test it in it failed to do anything to improve even my faintest wrinkles. I will continue to use it until it is all gone and decide then if it is worth buying or not. I like the dropper style lid but wonder how much will still be in the bottle once the dropper can no longer reach the oil. I'm not sure yet if I will buy this product but I do like the nice fresh face it seems to give me. The price is not unreasonable so I would probably recommend others to give it a try.

Works well

I read the instructions and knew there might be some redness or peeling. I didn't experience that much peeling or redness the first few days. Now my skin feels smooth and I've noticed my blackheads are gone. It smells great too

Face is soft and nourished

I am excited to try the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil for free. I followed the instruction on the package in which I first cleansed my face with the prep cleanser and then applied the retinol oil. The application was easy because it was through a dropper-like applicator. After a week of using this daily regimen, my skin feels very soft and nourished. However, I do not really see any major differences with the fine lines on my face. I think I will have to continue using this product for a few more weeks to see any visible result.

Instant Hydration, Great Application

Very pleased to test Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil #gotitfree @ChickAdvisor in it's very well designed dropper packaging which is far better than most other oil applications I have tried! Very unique, never messy. This Retinol oil goes on super easy with very wide spread. It does not stay oily long so you do not have to wait ages to apply make up. The downfall for me was the very strong floral scent. I like scents but this is overkill. I like it after it starts to dissipate in 20 minutes but that is too long for most women. Instantly my skin looks hydrated, do my wrinkles actually look better after a week and a half's use I cannot actually say they do I would need more time with it. Do I plan on continuing my adventure with it - yes. I have not experienced any redness, flakiness or any skin ailments reported with onset use of Retinol and I have fair skin and have used this product faithfully twice a day. Thank you for this opportunity.

Great Night Time Oil

I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor to try out and after a few days of use, I really like it so far. I find most oils to be too heavy/greasy for my skin but this one is quite light. That being said, I would not use it in the AM as it is still an oil and makes my skin a little too shiny for the daytime. I have tried other retinol products that tended to cause redness and sensitivity after daily use but this product didn't at all. Plan on continuing to use it in my nighttime routine.

So far, I would buy again

So far, I am enjoying this product. I am only four days in. The first two days, my skin was a little red but went away. I usually don’t use product on my face so I think that’s why. Other than that, I am enjoying it! Using it after the repair cream, my skin is feeling soft and overall looks nicer (glow kind of). Looking forward to continuing to use it!
