This gave me a rash

I know that this has been very effective for some people , however it gave me a rash of little red bumps on my face. So I will not be buying this product again. But I will continue to try other Neutrogena products in the future.

Too harsh on my skin

I was torn with these 2 products because I really liked Rapid Wrinkle Repair face wash, but the serum was just too harsh for my skin. It left my skin feeling a bit agitated and I did not think it was worth the price. I didn't really see difference in my skin with the serum. But I would buy it again and use the face wash for sure, because it left my skin very soft and looking refreshed.

Use Cautiously

I absolutely hate giving negative reviews unless I’m absolutely positive, something does or does not perform well and for that reason I’ve erred on the side of caution and given this three stars.

The first night I used this serum my face became very red. The website does state that one might experience redness, so I wasn’t overly concerned. The second night I had the same issue, so as per instructions on the website I used every second or third night.

Despite reducing the frequency I still had issues to the point where my face seemed to burn and itch constantly. Now I am prone to sensitivity so it may very well just be me. As I wasn’t able to use it consistently, I haven’t noticed any difference in my skin.

One thing of note, this is an oil and despite trying to use as little as possible my face remained very shiny as if it wasn’t being absorbed.

I have used other Neutrogena products and had zero issues. This didn’t work for me, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t work for you.

Not As Advertised

This product made skin soft and subtle, but I did not notice any improvement in my wrinkles. The bottle and texture of the product feels very high end, but it did not give me the results I had hoped for.

Just ok

I had to use this product for two weeks before I could give a review because I was not used to using retinol products so I didn't want to cause irritation, therefor I started with only one application per day for the first week. The second week I used as directed but unfortunately I did not see a significant improvement in the wrinkles on my face. On the plus side, the product did give my skin a little extra moisture without causing me to break out. I also enjoyed the scent of this product. I will keep using it to see if my lines and wrinkles improve but for now the "see results in one week" does not stand true for me.

Not Impressed Overall

I have been wanting to try some sort of Wrinkle Repair for a while now. I was excited when Chick Advisor selected me to try NEUTROGENA® RAPID WRINKLE REPAIR® RETINOL OIL. I've been using it for a while now in conjunction with the Rapid Wrinkle Cleanser.
The positives I found with this Rapid Wrinkle Repair Oil is: I really like the bottle. I like that it has a dropper that comes with it. You can use as little or as much as you like. I also like the scent. Its not overpowering.
But I found the negatives far out way the positive. I really didn't like that the oil is so runny, I also didn't like the way it made my skin feel. I've used it for about a week now and I have noticed no difference in my skin at all when it comes to my wrinkles or fine lines.
It may be good for other consumers but it just wasn't right for my skin. It would not be worth the price for me.

Je ne suis pas sûre d'aimer l'effet sur mon visage

Je ne suis pas fan des huiles à appliquer sur le visage. J'ai toujours l'impression que mon visage est super gras, par la suite, et j'ai peur de salir mon lit. Cela dit, le produit pénètre assez rapidement, donc ça compense.

Softens skin but doesn't work for wrinkles

I received Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil free through ChickAdvisor. I like the smell and how fast it absorbs into skin. I seemed to even out skin texture but did not do anything for wrinkles. I would say if purchasing to reduce wrinkles, try something else. For a nice moisturizer that won't break the bank this works!

Love the feeling of this oil.

I found this oil was easily absorbed and didn't leave a film on my skin. Makeup application was not affected and I felty skin was feeling smoother to touch. The surface of the skin was less rough than usual. I will continue to use this to see what the benefits are long term.

Doesn't live up to it's promises

I received this free to try from Chick Advisor and Neutrogena Canada. I have been using it for almost a month and sadly, I have not noticed any improvements. In fact, my face suffered terrible breakouts shortly after starting this regimen. After doing some research I learned that sometimes retinol can cause a "skin purge" and this can actually be a normal reaction...so I've been waiting it out.
I do like the container it comes in, it looks classy. The method of dispensing is easy. My face seems to have an oilier texture now though...maybe doing this in the hot summer months wasn't best. I have some fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead and haven't seen any change in them.
From reading other reviews it sounds like this product does work for some, I cannot say the same for me.
