No noticeable difference

I was priviledged to try this product free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. #gotitfree I did try it out for a while and honestly, I enjoyed the cleanser quite a bit (once I was able to open the cap). My face felt cleaner. The face serum however was a bit disappointing as I didn't really notice it's effectiveness. I tries to give it time (which is part of why my review is late). I will continue to enjoy the cleanser however.

Great value

Got this item free and I have mized feelings aboit this product. I believe there was a wand applicator, but that fell off into the bottle after the first use. I don't have huge wrinkles yet so I can't say that it helped.

Not for me

I really didn't see the effects of this oil on my face. I put it around my eyes, between my eyebrows and on my crowsfeet. In the morning, I also experienced some residue around the same area where I had put the oil. I also didn't really care for the smell of the oil either, maybe it was just me but I didn't like the smell. I'm going to keep using it until it is all gone and see if there is any difference once the bottle is gone, not sure if it is worth the price.

Soothing but not sure it helps wrinkles

I used this in combination with the exfoliating scrub. This seemed to help sooth my skin after the scrub but I didn’t see a lot of wrinkle improvement. My cheeks seemed a bit softer but that’s about it. I #gotitfree to try out and I do like the scrub/retinol combo but didn’t see a lot of improvement after a couple of weeks of use.

Visible results

I’ve used Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil for just over a week, and I’m cautiously optimistic about the results. My skin is smoother and definitely looks less dull. I’m 43 and have very fine lines that appear to have softened.

No noticeable difference

I used this product in combination with the cleanser (which I liked!). I didn't notice and tingling or redness, which it states may happen. I kind of wish I had because it might make it feel like it's working. I used more than the 4-5 drops it called for as I found it absorbed very quickly into my skin. My skin is on the drier side so this may be why. My skin did feel softer after use...not sure if this was from the cleanser, the oil or a combination. However, I did not see a visible difference in wrinkles as it claims.

A non oily oil,that seeps into the skin

After using this retinol product,I have to say I was expecting to see some difference in my lines,it didn't happen .
Maybe I need something stronger.Can't say I'm ready to recommend it.

Too Oily For My Skin

While this helped make my complexion appear smoother, and the wrinkles on my forehead way less noticeable, I find that it is just too oily for my skin. During the day, my skin felt so heavy and oily that I actually had to go and wash it. At night, it still hadn't soaked into my skin by the time I went to bed. While it helped diminish wrinkles, the heavy feeling on my skin will not make me re-purchase this. It might be different in the winter when my skin is more dry, but during the summer, it's a no for me.

10 Days Is Not Long Enough To See Results!

I am not loving this product, unfortunately; I am, however, ambivalent about its effectiveness, because the product arrived in the mail about 10 days ago, and such isn't long enough to notice visible, positive changes in my skin. Had I been able to use the product for at least 4-6 weeks before posting a review, perhaps my opinions and results would be different. (I will continue to use the product, then post updates/an addendum later.)

First impression: the product reminds me a lot of Kate Somerville's Quench Hydrating Serum. (KS sent me a full bottle in 2006 as gratis when I opened a retail account for Essential Day Spa's website; it was the first time KS had been offered to Canadians.) The texture, slippage, and absorbency are VERY much like Somerville's Quench, but at significantly less than Somerville's retail price of their product.

I am used to using retinol products at 44 (I really like Deciem's The Ordinary 2% Emulsion!), but am unsure if the Neutrogena® retinol serum or glycolic cleanser which led my chin to break-out in a fashion which it hasn't done for YEARS. (Yes, I am aware of what the "purging" process is.) I don't need or want a zitty chin at 44, thanks!

Sure, it smoothed and hydrated my combination skin. However, I honestly didn't notice a difference in texture (other than chin zits). Again, if I'd used the product for more than a month, perhaps I'd be able to provide more personal insight of any changes in my skin—its sun damaged, pigmentation issues, in particular.

I feel that ChickAdvisor and its sample suppliers ought to allow, bare minimum, 4-6 weeks of use by those who are sent anti-ageing/repair products to review. A 30ml bottle of treatment oil, when used twice daily as instructed: should last 3 months—adequate time for a product (with less active ingredient percentages) to be effective. Please keep this in mind when sending such products to others in the future, ChickAdvisor!

(Yes, it tingled and caused a bit of peeling on the first day of use.)

NEUTROGENA® RAPID WRINKLE REPAIR® RETINOL OIL

I saw no change in my skin appearance after using Neutrogena Retinol Oil twice a day for ten days, as directed. It is easy to apply and I liked the dropper, but the formula is greasy and needs a couple of minutes to be absorbed into the skin. I found it inconvenient not to be able to apply the moisturizer right away.

Despite the warnings on the bottle, I did not experience any redness or skin exfoliation while using the product.

As usual the biggest issue I had was with the smell, which is too powerful and very unpleasant.
