Not a bad product

I received my package and started using the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil immediately. The oil makes your skin feel much softer. I didn't find that it made much of a difference in the wrinkles on my face but I don't feel a week is long enough to see any real changes in the wrinkles on my face. I am going to keep using it and see if does make a difference. I also do have deep wrinkles not fine wrinkles so that could be why. I do prefer a cream to the oil because I find that it makes my face look greasy all day. I think that it is a half decent product but it may not be the best one for my face.

No Noticeable Effect

I recently tried this retinol "oil" courtesy of Chick Advisor in conjunction with the Neutrogena Prep Cleanser. Unfortunately I didn't find this product to be anything noteworthy and at $38.99 from Shopper's Drug Mart, there are many more effective options for a lot less money.

The bottle has an awkward dispenser that was tricky to fill with enough product; possibly I just received a damaged dispenser? Smoothing the product on I found it had a bit of a greasy texture and sat on my skin for longer than I would have liked. There are warnings on the bottle that you may experience mild tingling or flaking, which is normal for a retinol product but I didn't experience anything. It made me wonder if the product actually contains an adequate amount of retinol or if my skin is just accustomed to retinol products. The product is also scented, a possible irritant that is completely unnecessary in skin care, you don't need your face to smell good!

After a week of use, I didn't notice any discernible change that could be attributed to this product. I can't recommend this product for the price.

I would not pay for this product that did not work

I was lucky enough to be chosen by chickadvisor review club to trial for free the neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair retinol oil. I prepared and washed my face day and nite before applying this oil as told to do, and after 10 days i have not seen any improvement in my wrinkles, none. The Retinol Oil has no smell, is very oily, but absorbs well on my face. At times during the day, i felt as though i was sweating more where the oil was, and now i have a few zits.......I saw no reduction in wrinkles, my skin felt soft, but there is no difference in my wrinkles, still there, sadly, lol. The bottle is a generous size, would last for a long time, probably longer than my wrinkles.......

Too oily for me

I got this #freeproduct to try for Chick Advisor and had high hopes. I’ve used quite a few Neutrogena products over the years, but sadly this one let me down a bit. After using the oil religiously day and night for a week, I can’t see any difference in the fine lines around my eyes or on my forehead. Also, it made my skin very oily, especially during the day under makeup. I tried using extra powder to compensate but the oil still came through. It might be better to try in the winter when my skin is super dry, but for now I’ll have to pass on his product.

Did not work for me

At first, I did like using Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair retinol oil because it did not feel oily after applying. My skin absorbed the oil immediately, thus avoiding a shiny face. After using this product for at least two weeks, my fine lines did not reduce at all. Maybe if I use the oil for a longer time period, I may see a change? Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product if you are expecting to see a difference.

Undecided

This products touts noticeable results after one week of use, but sadly I see none.
But first let's go over the highlights:
This oil smells incredible.
It also feels like silk on my skin. I really do enjoy putting it on.
A little goes a long way.
Using it with the prep cleanser I do notice an improvement on the texture of my skin. My face is so soft!
Now, I still see wrinkles. Not that I was expecting them to disappear completely, but I just don't see a difference at all. I'm not giving up. Neutrogena is a brand I trust and I've always got at least one of their products in rotation. I will continue to use the retinol oil in hopes of eventually seeing some results (because who doesn't want to look younger!)

No quick fix

I got to test out Neutrogena wrinkle repair retinol oil through Chick Advisor and while it went on effortlessly and made my skin smooth, I didn't notice much difference in the lines in my face. I think it would make a good preventive to your daily face care routine but once wrinkles are in, there's no getting rid of them....not by a serum at least.

Not What I Was Expecting

I had high expectations for this product. I received it along with the Prep Cleanser. The product does have an oily feel to it when first applied, but it absorbs very quickly. My skin felt soft. But I was also expecting it to make a difference to the fine lines and wrinkles. I noticed an ever-so-slight softening of my fine lines but absolutely no difference to wrinkles. I will continue to use it just-in-case I was a little too premature with my opinion.

Too early to say

I have only used this product for a week and haven’t seen any changes. I guess i have to use it longer since my skin is a bit resistant to what the product can really do.
Contrary to that, oil is really light on the skin, no sticky feeling at all, reason that makes me want to keep using it patiently. I’m eager to see the changes it can do on my skin.

Couln't tell the difference

I tried it for free my opinion, #tryRapidWrinkleRepairCanada, I noticed it wasn't greasy, which for some reason, I thought it would, not sure why. I just didn't notice any changes for me, maybe not enough wrinkles for my age?
