91% OF CHICKS DIG IT
I wanted this to work. I really did.
I was chosen to try this product free through chickadvisor. I really wanted to like this. I’m about to be 34, recently had a baby and my face has aged rapidly. I tried this in conjunction with the exfoliating face wash as directed (2 times per day) for a week. Within a few days my skin dried and became red and scaly. I don’t really have sensitive skin. I dropped down to once per day but my skin hated this.
I had to stop using it because my skin was red and scaly. After a few days off it my skin went back to normal.
The oil did smell nice and felt nice going on. I wish this worked for me.
Contradictory directions for use
The directions for the oil say to put it on before the moisturizer. The moisturizer says to put it on before the oil.
Soooo... which is correct? How could they get something so basic wrong? ha ha so I guess I will just use them interchangeably and hope it works.
There is no oil listed in the ingredients. Just a bunch of chemicals including BHT. :(
So far no result on my face
I have been using this with the prep cleanser for a week. Like the cleanser it has a very fresh and light scent. Although Neutrogena named it as an oil but it's not greasy at all. It absorbs into my skin very fast and I used it to replace my regular serum for the past week. Although it claims will see result in a week, but too bad I don't see any result not even on my fine lines......hopefully I will see some improvement when I keep using it longer.
The verdict is still out
As someone in their early thirties, I am constantly looking for a way to halt the aging process and minimize the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. I've been trying Neutrogena's Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil for 10 days now and I have yet to see any results. It's still very early, so I didn't necessarily expect to notice anything yet. I will continue to use it though and hope that it is having a positive impact on my skin.
As for the product itself, the instructions indicate to use only a few drops. However, I need to use a lot more than recommended to cover my face, as the oil seeps in quickly and does not easily spread.
At this point, I will not recommend it to anyone until I see some results.

OOPS
The product feels great on your skin, especially when you have just exfoliated. However, i was really disappointed. The product did not work for me. I see many positive reviews, so i guess i am one of the few it did not work for
So far, it's not working...
I was given the #Neutrogena #RapidWrinkleRepair to try, and I've now been using it for 3 weeks. The purported results occur within a week's time, but I have yet to notice a difference. I prep with the provided cleanser which has exfoliative properties, then apply the oil. It does leave an oily residue on the skin. Really the only thing I've noticed is the exfoliative effects of skin peeling. Be sure to apply sunscreen and avoid the sun! I'll continue to use the product to see if it has any effects!
Okay product
The Neutrogena Wrinkle Repair Retinol oil is an okay product. I have been using it for the past few days since I received the package in the mail. However, I haven't seen any difference yet. I assume it's because it's too soon to tell. Perhaps if I keep using it for over a few months I will eventually notice any fine lines disappear. What's good about this oil is that it doesn't leave my face greasy. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it penetrated my skin.
