I am happy with this product. I received this product from a friend years ago and I was surprised on how it covers up. I have alot of redness and when I use this product, it disappears. You can still see some bumps and stuff but it covers mostly all. I recommend all to try.
Neutrogena Skin Clearing Oil-Free Liquid Makeup goes on smoothly and blends into the skin seamlessly. The color was even and nicely corrected my skin tone for a really nice look. The formula as nice and light and didn't bother my sensitive skin. The coverage was long lasting and didn't require any touch-ups. I would recommend it!
I purchased this foundation in the US not too long a go but I haven't seen it in Canada so I don't think it's available in stores though you could probably find it online. I have acne prone skin so I liked the idea of an oil, shine reducing foundation with salicylic acid to help clear my skin. I've been using it for a little while and I do notice a bit of difference in my skin. Pimples clear up faster though I don't notice a huge difference in the amount. I think for the most part, the % of salicylic acid is too low to show a drastic improvement but used regularly with other products, I think it's definitely a good part of a skincare/beauty system.
As far as the actual foundation formula goes, I like the coverage and it has decent lasting power. My one complaint is that it isn't moisturizing enough. It doesn't glide on smoothly like other foundations and it's a bit too thick and heavy. I've been finding that lighter foundations like UD Naked usually look better once the makeup oxidizes and this one tends to settle and look a bit cakey. I think it would do better for very oily skin and in the winter not in this humid summer weather. I would like better colour selection too.
This product really dissapoint me because, it said it controls shine, but my face just kept being oily as always.and sometimes my acne would just get worse when i wear this. its kind of expensive, and i just did not like it.
I tend to sweat a lot so I would end up with really oily skin which would lead to acne problems. So when I went shopping, I found this product and decided to try it since I wanted to cover my acne while treating it at the same time. When I tried it, it did its job and it didn't dry out my skin too much. But you should still keep in mind that a lot of acne fighting products do dry out your skin a little to strip the oil that is causing the acne off your skin. So this product should only be used with people who have an issue with acne on a daily basis. But overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend it. :)
having loved neutrogena's healthy skin foundation so much, i thought this one would be another favorite. but it turns out i ended up being really disappointed. i found that it was too harsh on my skin. it really dried me out and broke me out even more. i tried mixing it with my moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer instead and the coverage was still fab, but i kept breaking out. i think the salicylic acid or perhaps another ingredient or two were too much for me, it stung a bit and even when i hadn't applied any near my eyes they would burn and water.
just didn't suit me but might be good for someone less sensitive.
Hello, rediscovered product! I never really liked this much at first, but I decided to give it another shot and I'm on my THIRD bottle! I love it!
The finish (I use a Beauty Blender/makeup sponge) is flawless! The coverage is nice and it doesn't dry my skin out or make it look cakey/patchy. It's long lasting and doesn't irritate or break me out.
Although Neutrogena products are usually a little pricey for drugstore products, this is definitely worth it. Can't wait to try the powder! Lol.
