Not my favourite

The cleanser does a good job of cleaning without leaving my skin feeling stripped, which is a big plus. But i did notice some tightness after rinsing. Overall gentle but nothing great

Foaming Cleanser but a bit smelly

The cleanser is not bad, it foams up really well with only a little water and it is easy to rinse off. I didn’t love that there is a scent to the cleanser, as someone with sensitive skin, I would have liked this more if it was scent free. The pump bottle is a good feature though.

The Cleanse Dilemma: Gentleness vs Efficacy

NEUTROGENA® Ultra Gentle Daily Foaming Cleanser is undeniably gentle and fragrance-free, making it a suitable option for those with sensitive skin. However, while it ticks some boxes, it doesn't quite stand out among the competition. Personally, I find myself reaching for my CeraVe cleanser for everyday use, as well as my DHC oil Japanese cleanser and Biore Japanese cleanser. These alternatives seem to do a more thorough job of removing impurities and dirt from my face. While NEUTROGENA® Ultra Gentle Daily Foaming Cleanser is reliable, it doesn't quite reach the same level of efficacy as my preferred cleansers.

Works but too scented

This cleanser did work well to clean my skin. It foamed nicely and was simple to use however there is parfum added in it which made it very scented. In future I would opt for a fragrance free version.

I prefer soap to foam wash

This Neutrogena item was given to me to be reviewed by. It is true that it is gentle and I found no irritation while using. It worked well removing minimal makeup as well. The lather is ok but I do prefer a soap to foam wash during my routine.
This wouldn’t be an item I would go out of my way to buy however if my other brands were not available I would have no problem purchasing it. Just for context my usual brand is cerave or Marcelle.

Alright Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser

I tried the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser for about a week and I didn't really notice any difference after using it. I found that it wasn't too effective and the foaming formula left my skin feeling quite dry and dehydrated.

Loved the foaming action, but dried out my skin

I received this product for free from Butterly to review. This is the Ultra Gentle Daily Foaming Cleanser by Neutrogena.

The cleaner foams up nicely. It produces a nice, rich lather. It removes makeup, dirt, oil, and other impurities.

Unfortunately, there were a few factors I wasn’t quite sold on. The cleanser does contain fragrance, which I found to be a bit too strong for my liking. I don’t think that would be suitable for someone with really sensitive skin, despite the product catering to that. I also found it dried out my skin after use. This may be due to my personal skin type, but I wasn’t a fan.

Overall, I’d give it a 2.5/5. I really liked how well it foamed, but I wasn’t a fan of the fragrance or the fact it dried out my skin.

Great. I guess i’m just picky.

This product is OK for the time being… It didn’t last longer than 24 hours though, that’s for sure. My skin was still really oily after about 12 hours of using it and I did have a minor break out because my skin had to get used to it.

didn't quite like it

I got this as a trial sample with no cost, somehow I wasn't able to determine is effectiveness as the quantity in the tube was really less for a face wash.

This is nice and light foamy cleanser. I purchased for my 13 year old daughter because I wanted something mild and non abrasive. I tried also but it was not for me.
